Barker is a quality fighter I reckon - but he just can't get a fight. I think he's potentially world class but will we ever get the chance to see it?

Vacated mate. McDermott who was supposed to be Barker's opponent for the vacant title has a fight lined up against Danny Butler for the English title according to boxrec

Super Darren Barker is arguably the best young technical fighter in the UK on the rise. People talk about Cleverley but this lad is the real McCoy. Mark my words.

I still think Barker needs a couple more fights at domestic level before he does anything else. Best of luck to the lad and hopefully we will see him on tv again soon.
