I believe this will be a good British title fight. Napa is a lot better than his record suggests and I tip him to take a close decision.
i reckon napa by UD. i hope so anyway.
I think this is a 50/50 fight so could go either way.
Will probably go the distance with Napa edging it.

I'd also go for Napa to edge this one .

Both are very average but deserving. Napa seems to be getting the press/fans push at the moment but I pick Haskins, I just think that he is better than Napa.

Both are very average but deserving. :-( Bit harsh Wilson both are very skilful in their own right but not world class. Boxers don't need to be world class to be good!!!!! :good

napa is skillful as hell but has so little power he can smack you and give you a wake up call but nothing more than a nose breaker at most.
it's a shame becuase his style can be very entertaining.
haskins though is very good for a domestic fighter decent power decent speed very good basics just doesnt have the natural talent.

Haskins was hilarious to watch early in his career. A no talent, attempting to fight like a super-talent.
How big of a favorite was Napa going into the fight -questionmark-

You southerners don't af speak Hyper, the accents on Napa and Haskins were very hyper.
haskins actually looked quite good for the first 3 rounds but he was trying to ko napa with pretty much every punch and was looking knackered by the 4th. pity he got that hand injury as i would have liked to see how it went over the full 12.
i think i had it even by the time he was retired by his corner.
btw i wouldn't mind supporting haskins if he didn't have that ugly attitude and act like a complete wanker.
and how cool did the little fella look coming into the ring!

I'll be very interested to see how serious the 'injury' was..... Haskins didn't want to quit but the hand seemed to injure around the same time Napa began to catch up with him!

Haskins didn't want to quit but the hand seemed to injure around the same time Napa began to catch up with him!Funny how he couldn't move his whole arm one bit seeing as it was a hand injury. He didn't look to be in any pain or discomfort at any point, but did seem to fall apart when he didn't get the quick win. A retirement due to injury sure looks a lot better on the record than a KO loss to a guy who's never stopped anybody before.....

There have been no medical reports of it being a hand injury , only the ring announcer claimed it as such(and that guy is full of mistakes) .
Haskins mightn't be the most likable guy in the world but he does seem like he doesn't have much quit in him(even if he can be a little discouraged at times) and he wanted to continue .
If you were getting hit in the face cause you weren't raising your right arm , then you'd raise your right fucking arm . The only reason you wouldn't is if it's damaged.........

Who wins this one? Any opinions? Napa Tko7 - hand injury. I had a dream last night that this happened.
Pleased Napa won his first defence.
This is his first win that hasn't gone the distance!

Haskin just quit. Napa is superior, to win rounds Haskins had to expend too much energy, then he quit.

No, he quit.
His style is ridiculous for someone with zero stamina. Every fight he fades after a few rounds, he's never stopped an opponent late on. He just knackers himself out with an inefficient style, over and over again.
He had a slight niggle and used that as an excuse to be pulled out. Which was perhaps sensible given his chances of winning.

It was assisted quitting. Same thing.
Was quite a lively little fight at times. I gave the early rounds to Haskins but thought Napa improved more and more as it went on.
Haskins didn't seem at all happy when his corner retired him but he wasn't really in any state to continue with one arm just hanging by his side.

What do we think would have happened if Haskins hadn't hurt his arm? I would say Haskins was heading for defeat, without a doubt. It might sound inconceivable, but it looked to me like he was troubled by Napa's accuracy and dare I say it, power. Not to mention the fact that he looked tired.
I hope that they have a rematch, it was just getting interesting....

That's not strictly true , Peter Culshaw did end Napa's night early once , but I'm glad for Napa that he finally got to have a short night and be on the right side of things .
I think Napa was starting to take over and may have even gotten a proper corner retirement with the regularity he was catching Haskins . Haskins had won the first 3 for me but Watt really is right when he says Haskins' style makes him run out of steam very quickly and against a guy like Napa who comes on strong as the fight progresses it just isn't going to work .

If i was a Haskins fan, i would have been raging with him for how stupidly he fought. Everyone knows Napa is an experienced fighter who is great defensively, some of his moves are pure old school.
In fact, I have changed my mind. Instead of going on about what Haskins did wrong just as I was about to, instead I will give credit to Napa. he fought brilliantly, making haskins miss time & time again whilst waiting until the right time to put the pressure on, & when he did Haskins simply came apart.
The question is, how good could Napa have been if ONLY he had a decent dig? What a talented little fighter.

Napa's styles simular to James Toney with the shoulder rolling and getting close or when he's on the ropes.:D

Napa could have made a very good Light-Flyweight or Flyweight if he had a bigger punch but lets not get ahead of ourselves . He was thoroughly outboxed by Damaen Kelly(you could make a case for a shutout , but for some reason it was scored just 3 points for Kelly) and Kelly hasn't exactly got the best of digs himself(although he was supremely skilled)
I think the lack of real depth in the Flyweight-Super Bantamweight classes in Britain really hurts the fighters and hinders them from reaching their potential .

he is very underated even with his record he was very respected.

big big puncher real one shot power but had to pack more muscle on becuase of the lack of opposition at strawieght.
real shame becuase this extra bulk really wieghed down on him and tired him out.
