To have actual combat experience. I don't think these judges even know how to judge a fight.

I think combat sport experience is a good idea.

I don't know that being kicked in the head and pummeled into unconscienceness on more than one occasion qualifies one to be a judge.I have spoken to a number of these ex fighters who now judge fights and some of these guys are just plain nuts.:-(

Then the complaint will be "well, of course he got the decision... three Jits judges?"

There's always gonna be the occasional crappy decision.
