I actually said Hatton would win this oneconvincingly, because Castillo was past it and not in his weightclass

ehhh i didn't think he would get knocked out but i thought he would be completely dominated so. its pretty much as i saw it would be

I also picked Hatton to win convincely. But I don't think we can say for certain that Castillo is a shot fighter - at this point in time. I think we will be able to tell by what happens in his next fight. Remember, Hatton is the #1 fighter at 140. Hatton is a natural 140 pounder, he wasn't moving up in weight class like Castillo. And the best fighter that Hatton beat (Tszyu) is better than anyone Castillo has ever beaten. So to me the Hatton win was expected. If Castillo beats a top 10 fighter in his next outing, then good on him. If he looks bad and loses, THEN we can say that he's a shot fighter.

I've been saying that Castillo was shot since the Ngoudjo fight. He's just not the same guy anymore, too slow. The fight was exactly what I figured. He is not the same fighter he once was, not by any means.

Yeah an OLD Tszyu who at that point only fought like twice a year if that. I wouldn't be so judgmental on quality of opponents... Castillo fought Floyd, chico, and Joel.... and many other fighters, stevie Johnson and etc. So his competition is miles ahead of hattons by a long shot. Judging a fighter over one victory over a past prime guy is not too wise. Castillo battled elite fighters who were in their prime, some who will probably be hall of framers. Big difference.

Another thing i want to add is that shot or not, beating Castillo on the inside like Hatton did takes tremendous skill.

good point, people forget that he was moving up in weight, Castillo wasn't used to this kind of power and simply couldn't hack it.
