The WBO belt dropped Shannon from what I remember, by way of Ibragimov throughly outworking & outboxing Briggs.

Briggs was in awful shape for that fight....he was the heaviest in his career and he looked to be in bad health. The pneumonia thing really screwed him over. I think the Briggs that faced Sergei would have put up a much better fight.
