Yes he is. All top-100 fighters are ranked including all champs from the top 5 bodies and that includes ours so people can see where they truly stand

Phil, that sounds good in theory.

I guess, as champ though wouldn't you feel you are not even regarded as champ by your own sanctioning body and what you really hold is just a paper title?

I remember the same with Geale before he fought Mundine, he was somewhere outside the top 10.

No not at all! Good to know where a champ truly lies in the mix don't you think. A paper champion is one who has not won the belt in the ring or due to politics (such as when Ali was stripped of his title and license), not someone who has fought and won it in the ring.

The other fly in the ointment of your statement is that the Champions name appears at the top of the ratings with Champion: in front of it. So yes the organisation does regard the champ as 'the champ'

And how long had Danny competed at cruiser before he got a title fight with the IBO? Apples and apples for mine.

Personally, I think both orgs can be criticised here. Certainly the IBF. That ranking is ridiculous. We've been over this Phil, we have reached a truce and I still want you to buy me a coffee :) So I'm not starting a barney here LOL.

I'm not the brightest spark but i have always wondered why certain spots on the list are stated as Not Rated? Wouldn't everybody just move up a spot :huh

Some orgs will rate a guy in a higher division just on petition from the manager so not too bad at all! ;) See you after the weigh-in and rules meeting we can have the coffee then

The IBF always keeps the first two spot vacant unless people fight eliminators to earn those spots.
