Did anybody watch it?????

It took place on the 2nd of October and was repeated last night.

Great tournament.......Ausley Harrison took out the title and made some kind of announcement that he was back as a force in British boxing as a HW and formulating a path to a world title shot.

Harrison beat a newcomer, Coleman Barret (10/10 undefeated) in the final with an devastating KO.....very crisp straight right, Colemans eyes rolled and he almost went vertically through the ropes.

Anybody rate Audley Harrison at 37.....

Ah shit,,, no.

Might roll around as repeat sometime....worth watching.

Set up like the K1, 3 x 3minute rounds 8 fighters to start, 32,000 pounds on the table winner take all.

It had a great atmospere in the hall, 5 thousand people, sell out.

Something like this would go down a treat here, be a sell out.

He is a strnge cat.

Coleman Barret (practically a novice at Pro HW) was all over Harrison in the first of 3 rounds. Was looking like doing exactly the same in the second and if he got through the 3rd would easily have got the decision.

Harrison was fighting like it was 12 rounds and was willing to throw rounds 1 & 2 to make up later. Looked like a mental plan knowing how much cash was up for grabs. Admittedly the KO punch he put on Barret was tremendous and it stunned the whole place....best knockout I have seen all year.

Can see he has got either no ticker or the bloke cant apply a fight plan at all......must wreck his trainers head.

Well the bloke eventually got the job done but you are right Harrison showed a total lack of urgency ..Barrett was lucky he got the nod in the first round of fights v Welshman Scott Gammer i thought Scott had edged it (well i would wouldn't i) ?

BTW It was Williams who got Ko'd not the other way around ...

Josey

wouldn't say he was a media hype mate. He gets slaughtered in the press in Britain. But he won an Olympic super-heavy gold medal so there was bound to be a lot of interest in him. Then he signed a million quid deal with the BBC after turning pro. But he blew it by saying he'd be British champion after five fights then constantly fought bum afer bum. Not a natural fighter at all, looks like he hates getting in there.

Bulldogs , Yes i agree mate the media has tired of Harrison here in the UK but STILL some are predicting he could still play out large on the World scene , You know Audley dosen't really want to be in there , i know it and i suspect Audley himself knows it . the man had all the makings of a top heavy except a champions heart , i was gutted around 4 fights into his career when i twigged this , an olympic gold medal winner with the frame of Audley WAS something to look forward to when Lennox retired but alas we didn't suspect his lack of heart from the start . i will stop short of saying total lack of heart as he laced them up in the first place and that to me deserves some respect . peace..

And to you pal. Indeed, suppose in a way he shows a lot of courage in getting in there when it's totally against his nature. Just wish he'd stop spouting nonsense when he actually wins a fight. I saw him win one of his early bouts in Liverpool and it was a standard 'novice v opponent' contest, yet at the end the way him and his manager Jess Harding were going on you'd think he was the Second Coming. Think that's what rubs so many of us up the wrong way.

I saw that show too. Some of the fights were quite good. The flip side is Fraudley is a pussy. And Danny Williams has a chin made of jelly. The big tard was constantly being wobbled or knocked down... funny shit.
