He fought in boxing again earlier this year after a long lay off and now he will have another boxing bout on France on November 13. The event will be covered live on Eurosport. I wonder what Jerome plans to do in boxing ...

probably not... He was a pro boxer before entering K1.. He boxed for the world heavyweight title somewhere in the 90's.. He was no bum... Of course he will be no worldbearer anymore... but I am pretty confident that he will not ridicule himself like others before him..

I thought he only had a handful of fights against no names.

Man what a hostility towards Le Banner. Did he sleep with your wifes or something?

Jerome held some world titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai, so the guy probably erroneously thought of that. Anyway, Jerome is on his way down pretty hard at the age of 36 and after a long career with some career ending injuries (broken arms, knees, … ) he’s not gonna break anything big anymore in boxing.

In his prime around 2002 he was really great though, great handspeed, great kicks and KO power in both hands and both legs – a real predator, always looking for the KO.

The guy ain’t fighting for the money, he just wants to have some fun. He might win some and might lose some in boxing, it doesn’t really matter, at least he’s entertaining to watch … something that cannot be said of many of the out of shape or boring ass heavyweights out there these days.

please, quote these lines to you refer to :hi:

All I read here are opinions about his future in boxing which might very well be true and one semi-serious post. Since (as you have mentioned) on your own he has suffered a lot of injuries during his K-1 career his chances of passing through a journeyman are quite low. I didn't see any hostility towards him in this thread.
