I think this is a pretty close matchup but im gonna go with Griffith by a very close decision, Griffith almost stops Norris in the late rounds while scoring a knockdown 8-6-1 Griffith.

Emile Griffith wins by a decision, and not a close one.

By the way, Norris isn't close to being like Napoles.

A "pre Paret" Griffith could stop Norris. Griffith had a good jab so it's conceivable he could catch Norris and get him out of there, but I'll say Griffith by decision.

Not a chance. My boy is too much boxer for him. Chalck up another loss for EG. he's use to it

I'll go with that great jab to score the points. Griffith also had those terrific whiskers and Gil Clancy would have his guy not doing the things Norris could capitalize on.

Right, because we've never seen Norris KTFO by a blown up welter champ before. :rofl

Nope. Norris would win simply because he has more speed-the key to his many blowout wins

I'd be more worried by his blowout defeats if I were you sunshine.

Huh?? Don't you remember how Norris used his speed to blow out that washed up ex-welter Simon Brown that was brought in as a tune-up fight?

Oh wait...

:patsch :D Well hush my brow, silly little me. Not to mention, of course, the manner in which he utterly outsped Julian Jackson whilst being unconscious. Bloody good trick that one.

Considering that LMR was teak tough at his best, I'd say that this would be a best case scenario for Norris. Sick knockout that one...........

:D. To be fair though, a lot of folk thought that Tiger deserved the nod in their first fight, and he was shot to shit in their second. Still.......well pointed out.
