View Full Version : Two huge behemoths in Germany
Jens Krull(7-0),20 years old,210 cm tall, is scheduled to fight another no-hoper on a small fight show in Berlin on nov.the 13th.
Have seen him once fight in a ring.Looks like a clumsy monsterbaby, but is young and has some skills.
As far as I know he has a contract with Germany's most powerful promoter Sauerland.
Jury Frank alias Juergen Frank, stems from Russia,26 years old,2-0( all by way of ko),tallest boxer on the globe, even tallen that Valuev, has recently signed a contract with SES( one of Germany's leading box promotions), is scheduled to appear on a local fight show in Berlin on nov.the 15th.
If I am able to I will try to attend the fight show with Frank live in order to watch the tallest fighter on the globe live.:admin
Anyone seen Krull or Frank? Any other mutations out there in europe?

I think Jens Krull is a litlle bit longer as profesional since last year or somthing like that. The Name Jury Frank I just heard last week in a german forum.
In a forum I have read that the Frank has already made a training session wiht Krull and absolutely destroyed him. I don't kwon if it is true, but the mate of Frank want to upload the video with this training session.
Hey guys you have to consider, the Frank is fighting for small company "SES", I don't really think he is such a hopefull/talented fighter. On the other hand I saw some picture from Jens Krull, he is young but I don't think he will ever be a great boxer, maybe I am wrong.

Hm! Frank kicked Krull's ass while sparring with each other! Sounds promising! Where can I watch your abovementioned vid?

Hey Odo, do you know why world champion Jack Robert Keth didn't compete at the German Championships in Berlin last week?
What's the news on him anyway? Turning pro?
Sorry if this is off-topic.

That Krull guy isn't going anywhere soon. Put him in the ring with Monte Barrett and you get Tye Fields part II. He is young though, maybe he still can improve...

It's very usual for those who have competed in the Worlds Championships or the Olympics.... And he made it all the way, so why go to the nationals a short time after?
I'm sure he's taking a little time off after winning the worlds. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere earlier that he was thinking about if he should go pro or stay until the next Olympics.

In this german newspaper he argued "since two years he was fighting in every tournament and that's why he prefers to have a little break".
Also in this newspaper, he is right now in negotiation with UBP. In two weeks he will decide if he goes prof or stay amateur.

As soon as the friend from Frank upload the video, I will then put the link in this forum.
The mate said he will upload this video until thursday or something like that.

It's not very unusual at all I think. It's not like he won his gold a week ago. It's already been about 2 months. I think it's unsual to NOT compete for your national title. Unless you have reaons for it. Which he does.;)

Hi Odo,
Do you have any additional info on Jury Frank - amateur record, boxing
style, etc. Sounds like he could be someone to keep an eye on.

What happened to that one Dutchman who was about 7'5" or so? I remember seeing a video of him training about a year back and remembered thinking it was one of the goofiest, gangliest things I'd ever seen. Looked more like Shawn Bradley than a boxer.

He is only 7'2 (217cm), and he is another Russian German changing his name (Yuri to Jürgen).

Baby Huey will never make it past the preliminary fights. He is hit too frequently and it is too easy for an opponent to snap his chin out of position, he doesn't have any snap on his punches either. I do not see anything that would make an exceptional trainer think; hey, this kid has champion written all over him.
