I couldn't see his fight against Hayes.
How did he look?

I thought the opponent was quiet good last night judging his record of 26-1, but after checking the opposition i realized that hes a overprotected fighter without talent.

Arreola could be really good but he'll have to step up against a few "name" fighters to prove or disprove that.

He should fight Shannon Briggs. I would love to see Arreola KO that bum.I'd like to see that too. Briggs KO 3

Arreola is too slow, and easy to hit to ever fight Briggs. It would be a disaster! If you can move and use speed , you can have some success . But for someone as mobile as house and easy to hit , Briggs will KHTFO terrible.

Hayes had one of the most padded records ever seen. I doubt he was any good , or he would of took some real fights.

Arreola should step up to the following so-called "HW boxers" for his next test:

David Tua
Donnell Holmes
Michael Moorer
JD CHapman
Mike Mollo
Oleg Platov
Ray Austin
Matt Skelton
Fres Oquendo
Shane Cameron
Eddie Chambers
Josue Blocus

I like the combos he threw but the uppercut that knocked out Hayes was as wide as the Mississippi. Chris has lost a lot of weight since he started and came in last night at 245. I think if he can get down to 235 and tighten up his punches he can make a go at a title a year, year and a half from now. Not saying he'll be champ one day but with power and a good chin he can be a dangerous opponent.

I only saw him once but I think he can be outboxed by any decent fighter.

Arreola looked very good I thought. He threw a good assortment of punches: jab, body shots, and those big uppercuts to finish the job.
I also saw that his defense was better than it has been in previous fights, as he did well at keeping a proper distance.
As has been mentioned, he needs to step up his level of opponents to Top 20, Top 15 guys.
I haven't been that impressed with Arreola in previous fights, but I'm starting to change my tune. He seems like a really dedicated, determined fighter, and he's getting in better shape as well.

I always liked his personality.
He seems to be strong within, no Guinn or Golota.

I think Arreola is ready for a test, no more fights against fellow prospects, un less they are CHamber or Kevin Johnson level. I think it's time to put Arreola in against the former hot prospect himself Guinn, who is the reigning gatekeeper of the division right now.

He won it on a 3rd round TKO. Hopefully he has one or even two more fights before the year is over. He should step up in class with his opponents. No more D and C level guys.i agree but dont do a lacy and fight the best fighters you can find after beating up good but b level fighters.

he shouls fight alot against anything.

Didn't JD Chapman lose to Malcom Tann? I could be wrong. Well, Tann got stopped by Arreola The Nightmare

Nah, JD Chapman is an undefeated, overprotected fighter who probably will lose once he steps up his competition.
