you want to shame him into fighting a real fight?

journos are the problem..they are more yellow than mundine, they never challenge him to fight someone. they are all too scared to call him out in case they lose an interview...

why doent a journo ring any decent middle out there and ask for a challenge? why doesnt someone get on his back? none of them do!! wtf is wrong with our journos!!!!!

the only recourse we have is to rag him here. tease the cunt till he accepts a decent fight!!!

obviously journos are too fucked in the head and gutless to call him out..

:rofl

Green just wants a payday, and RJJ needs a belt for a rematch with Hopkins.

Green may be fighting a legend, but hes still a bum.

When Mundine says he is trying to get a big fight, I believe him. As soon as he can get a big name fight he WILL take it, get it through your head you sponge.

Why is it so hard to believe?

He CANT get a big fight. No one wants to fight him, no money in it.
He was knocked out by OTTKE, his record is tarnished forever.

If he ever gets offered a big name fight, he will accept, get the biggest payday of his career, get battered, then retire.

And before anyone has an orgasm, no I am NOT a Mundine fan. I NEVER watch his fights and never will until he gets a big name fight.

I am just looking at it from the other side of the fence. His KO loss to Ottke will be a dirty big black mark on his paper, it will always affect his future dealings, especially trying to land a big one... Pavlik, Taylor etc..... The loss to Kessler can be forgiven, Kessler is world class, but didnt KO him. Ottke was a horrid excuse for a fighter, unskilled, couldnt punch a hole in paper and was a fucking cheat..... a loss like that cannot be forgiven in this business.

The sooner people try and understand, the better.

Good on you mate, don't listen to these guys, you're on the money.

I heard all the big players in the middle to super middle weight divisions are under that bridge hiding from Mundine?

Kessler was after Mandys belt after he was beaten by Calzaghe (might have even been a mandatory defence for Mandy, though I can't remember now?).
Mandy was so desperate to not fight Kessler he vacated the SMW belt and dropped to MW.
Interestingly, probably only 6 months or so before Kessler wanted Mandy, Mandy was calling Kessler (and everyone else with a pulse who he knew were busy elsewhere).
Make of it what you want, but that's essentially what happened.
Mandy is NOT after the big fights IMO.

RRJ is a shell of the man 8 years ago, GREEN is fighting a top 175 now, no more. If he had these large balls your talking about he would be fighting a pascal or Dawson right now.

green came out of retirement for another money fight with mundine, the roy jones fight is as unwinnable for green as that rematch. This is a payday fight but green is a warrior like all boxers and is willing to take a whippin for the money. If he could pull off the upset hes an aussie hero if he gets ko'd hes rich and gave it a go

It's the farcical PPV situation that allows Mundine to keep fighting the likes of Falliga even though he's been the WBA No1 for how many months.

Having all his fights on Main Event at $49 a pop is scandalous yet they get away with it and he earns a crust. The Danny Green fight, yes of course. And Geale perhaps. But the last fella? And Taylor? Or Pintos and Crazy Kim? A joke. Yet they get away with it and he picks up his coin without having to face anyone decent.

And now facing the winner of The Contender. Easy money again.

Same with Green's fight with Van Niekerk. PPV for that joke with a shocking undercard.

At least Green is now bringing a legend here.

I've tapped into a few cans of Bourbon... read the above post.. thought to myself there's an obvious opening..

OK.. Ok.. Mundine rated as No.1 WBA contender.. out of interest, do the WBA fuckstablishment actually recieve a PENNY for feature dribble fights with Mundine posted at No.1??? It's only a curio, and assumed the answer is NO.

green is the man of this era. he can say he fought the best. mundine never can.

SALLYWINDER's issues with Mundine compare favourably to George.W. Bush's infatuation with Saddam Hussein !!! :ibutt

Did he launch a scud missile up your arse or is it just a chemical imbalance ? :err

I don't mind Green as a fighter. Personally I've never met him so I've got nothing to say in relation to that. As for his bout v RJJ I think he can win for the simple reason that the RJJ challenging Green for his IBO cruiserweight title is a shadow of the man that went from middleweight to heavyweight champ all those years ago.

Up until this fight Green's best opponent has been Mundine who gave him a lesson so I'm at a loss to see how you can suggest that Danny Green is the man of this era. :huh
