That was fucking hilarious. That being said, Floyd has jumped plenty of divisions.

To be fair to Floyd the guy interviewing him wasn't understanding some of Floyd's points. Boxing is a money game and Floyd will fight whoever brings him the biggest money reward. Thats why he fought De La Hoya and Hatton. Simply as that. He will definately fight either of Mosely or the Pacman-Cotto winner next as that will bring him the most money. Shane Mosely has had plenty of opportunity to fight Floyd in the past and declined, ridiculously once because he said he had a sore tooth.

Hmmm

The intervewer was so mis informed its not funny. Mosley lost to forrest twice in 2002, not 99.

Floyd also started at 130. They cant expect him to move up another 2 weight divisions and call it "fighting someone his own size".

Hopkins didnt always fight the best. He also avoided a lot of fighters...

Floyd is also right in that it takes way longer to set up a Pay per view event and so you cant compare it with fighters who fight 3 times as many fights.

And they obviously havent listened to Arum in any interviews. I hate Arum. He's as much a slimeball as Nasser.

:deal

*EDIT*
actually after fully listenin to the clip i find it to be sorta rude for them to be grillin Floyd like that... the interviewer has a good point but the way he puts it across isn't the best... I'd actually be more interested in listening to Floyd's responses to someone askin and makin the same comments to Floyd in a civil manner....

Samething with Mundine... someone needs to grill them in the public eye in a calm civil manner and present nothin but the facts! puts all the pressure on Floyd and Anthony then

yea I'm all for the interview, I found it hilarious, and it's exactly what anybody should be saying to Floyd, cuz he's a bit of a pussy.

I'm just surprised he was allowing them to talk to him like that without him terminating the interview early, and like superflysam is saying , the best way to shut somebody up and prove them wrong is to stay calm and civil about it.

The interviewer is a cockk sucker. Has no idea what he is talking about.

How can you call floyd a pussy he is a 6 time world champion, fought a undefeated hatton and im sure he would fight anyone, but like he says he is a smart business man. Floyd has also jumped 5 or 6 weight classes himself. So dont forget he is a small guy aswell.

I agree he is a champion in 5 diff weight divisions, but there are fights out there that he is refusing to make.

He reminds me of Mundine.

You cant even compare floyd and mundine.

Zelenoff and mundine i can see a comparison, everybody needs to show floyd some respect, his comeback opponent wasnt that easy, marquez is p4p #2. Lets just see what he does for his next fight. I think he will fight the winner of pac man and cotto early next year.
I want cotto to beat pac man, but i would rather see floyd fight pac man before he fights cotto.

I guess everyone will listen to the interview with different pre-conceptions but to me it kind of confirmed the way he thinks about the fight game. He wants to considered as a great, refers to himself as a hall of famer (which he is) but on the other hand he seeks out the easiest money rather than the toughest challenges. As they said, if you cut through the smack talk, they want to see him in a fight which is a genuine 50-50 fight such as Mosley, Cotto or Williams.

Why can't all interviews be like that ? The Rugged Man nailed it and hopefully PBF will come round and see that the vast majority of fight fans feel the same way.

That was sensational....thank's for posting. :thumbsup

That is awesome. Yeah, the host is a bit wrong on some technicalities and is harsh at times, but he tells Floyd straight up what a lot of people are thinking and Floyd just has no answer on 90% of it. If he had real answers, he'd be able to give them and have a real case to make - but he really doesn't and dances around most of the points against him...

Excellent stuff

I love the bit where he says ": Paul Williams would spank yo' ass!:

BTW, anybody else thought this guy was black?? I was surprised to learn he was white, as he has a full on african american accent!
