Tragedy: Fighter dies after bout

Lightweight Jackson Bussell passed away on Friday after battling Javier Garcia to a draw on Thursday night at the Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California. Bussell, who took the bout on late notice, gave a good account of himself in the fight, but seemed to run out of gas late. After the bout he collapsed and was taken to Northridge Medical Center where he lost his fight for life the following afternoon. Bussell, who lived in Reno, Nevada, was just 28 years of age. It's always horrible when someone dies in the ring, but, somehow, the fact that Bussell died after producing such a good result makes this death seem that much more poignant.

Very sad , he died in pursit of his dreams in a sport that he loved. RIP, Love to his loved ones, he deserves to be remembered with the highest respect.. He is just one of gods children like us.

I'll skip my affected/goofy posting style for this one. This is extremely sad, and I hope his family somehow copes. One of boxing's flaws is that it can cause the death of brave men.
