This is going to be a great....I would have thought JT would be the favourite.....however Sam is very hard to tag so should be a close one.

This is Jnr's first major test.I think Peter Mitrevski Jnr would have been his biggest threat to date.

I have to back Sam Soliman in this one, I think he has enough in the tank to take a decision win against Junior.

Its hard to back against Sam so I'll go with him for a close win on points.

this will be a tought fight, i'd like to see junior fight on the contender to gauge where he is at at the moment.... would be a good hard fight for both competitors with junior more to gain then sam at the moment i reckon...

hope sam wins, not seen the other guy before but i like soliman,he seems like a qenuinley nice guy like when he took hernandez under his wing in the 3rd of the contender series, helping him get in shape instead of just thinking of his own tournament...top bloke, good luck sam

p.s is it for any belt or anything? im british, and not really clued up on aussie boxing.

i really hope this is wrong but i heard talipeau is pulling out of the fight because he isnt going to be paid as much as sam.

And he should get the seconds......Sam's got the profile and has had the bigger fights.....I hope it gets made.

It's for Sam's IBO and IBF regional titles. Junior is the current Australian Champion but under ANBF rules his title will be declared vacant the moment he steps into the ring. I would argue too that Peter has been Junior's biggest threat yet - that would easily be Ben Crampton

Riddle me this O' Phil... Sams the current WBF interim World M/W Champ... How does he manage to keep lower rated belts.. i.e regional belts, whilst a World champ of sorts, governed by a body of sorts??

Not a drop. Serious question mate. Sam's the WBF interim M/W Champ.. yet he continues to retain and defend the IBF and IBO regional title belts. I actually assumed once Sam had reached the WBF World title (interim), he'd have to forfeit the other belts... regardless of the auspicies of the titles held. Perhaps due to the 'interim' situation he obtains the other belts???

simply if the president of the WBF (which one of the two of them is up to you), then it's their look-out.
