Even at his best, Boogaloo simply didn't have the chin to survive the distance against Toney, and he's fortunate he didn't rematch Hagler within the year like The Worm did. Watts might survive the first few rounds, and even manage to win a couple, but he'd pack it in by round six.

your really under rateing watts and over rateing the middleweight version of james toney, at middle toney had alot of close fights he just got past reggie johnson after geting dropped first, got a draw with a past his prime mccallum, got a gift decsion against dave tiberi in one of the worst robberies i have seen, and won another close fight over mccallum, he was known for loseing as much as 12 pounds week of the fight and would often only turn in a half ass performance. in his prime years from 1973 to 1976 at middleweight watts beat big punching eugene hart, willie monroe and give marvin hagler his first loss. For me watts beats the middleweight toney on points comeing through some rocky moments.
