Tragedy: Fighter dies after bout

Lightweight Jackson Bussell passed away on Friday after battling Javier Garcia to a draw on Thursday night at the Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California. Bussell, who took the bout on late notice, gave a good account of himself in the fight, but seemed to run out of gas late. After the bout he collapsed and was taken to Northridge Medical Center where he lost his fight for life the following afternoon. Bussell, who lived in Reno, Nevada, was just 28 years of age.
