i have taken all kinds of shots, from straight rights square on the nose to right uppercut to the bridge of my nose, but the most i have ever been hurt was probably from a left hook to the body or straight right to the solar plexus, i almost threw up when i got hit on the solar plexus with a straight right.

whats the most worst you have been hit??

first time I sparred with my trainer, he landed a spinning back kick directly under my right eye.

but if we're talking strictly boxing, then it was a straight left to the solar plexus that same day (from him).

Havent had that much sparring to get some real hard shots but one time i sparred this small but fucking fast ( something like Pacquiao ). He hit me with some stinging jabs right on the nose, that hurt, they were like burning lighting.

Relentless those punches hurt alot that you said, I got hit in the left hook to the body. I fell to knee holding side and I coughed once and I didnt have any air left in body. I got back up though in about 5 seconds or so and was able to finish round but I spent most the time trying to hang on.

But I guess thats supposed to happen when your 150 lber sparring a 180.

Relentless you forgot to mention that donkey punch that guy gave you a few years back.

I have never taken anything worth mentioning. I have had my ass beat all around the ring but no specific punch comes to mind.

I got knocked out by a 27 year old guy who weighed about 100 lbs more than me when I was 17 while we were at work. I don't know what kind of punch, I just now that shit had some umph behind it!!!!!

Got caught blind with a left hook to the side of the head in amateurs and did a mini Berbick impersonation after going down, made it to the bell and lost a decision but was embarassed because it was the first time my gf at the time came to watch me fight.

I got punched perfectly in the kidneys once by a right hook to the body during a fight. The pain literally paralyzed me for a few seconds and I felt like I was going to shit my pants.

There are about 3 that I will always remember. The first, is a straight right to the nose. It didn't brake it, but lets just say my nose moves around a lot more than it did before that punch. The other one is a straight right to the solar plexus, I threw up in my mouth with that. And the las tone is a right hook on the ear. That one happened 2 weeks ago. My ear was ringing for a while.

In my last fight I walked straight into a right hand with my chin up!! (He was jabbing to my body heaps but then faked the jab and threw the right as I threw my right!! Obviously his landed first) Went down got straight back up waaaayyyy too quick, bit of a chicken dance and it was called!!! AHHHHHH

i slipped a jab and this guy threw a right hand over his jab that hit me on the cheek, spun me around and put me on my knee before i could do anything about it. gave me the craziest headrush standing back up, very weird feeling. outside of boxing the worst shot i ever took was sparring for my black belt against a 3rd degree black belt, back round to the face ala crocop. hurt like hell, but i never went down :)

Worst punch ever was a straight right to the ear, after i had thrown a hook and missed (shame.) hit flush with my jaw and onto my ear. I have never been able to chew properly without it hurting. (my jaw.). Other than that straight right to solar plexes.

Had my nose broken 4times,3 in rugby 1 in boxing so kind of use to the old broken nose but the headaches after a hardbout of head shots are really what annoy me...

Of all things i hate its the fucking headaches..

coming off a workout on the heavy bag one day, I walked into this MMA dude at my gym. I feinted and moved around him just playing around, showing him how much his sport lacks hands skills lol. Only this dude decides to actually throw an overhand right at me. I wasn't expecting it and it landed right on the jaw!!! Felt like a brick. Those damn mma 4 ounce gloves.

also i realized accidental headbutts hurt like a bitch!

i dont know how pros keep their cool, like in cotto vs judah both fighters were getting butted one after another, cotto even got a cut inside his lip and they just kept their cool, i got butted under my eye and for the rest of that sparring session it was hurting/stinging like a mother fucker and i couldn't think straight.

It was suppose to be a sparring session, but turned into a fight. i was sparring a
guy about 15 LB havier than me and told him we were just going to work so I threw couple of quick jabs and move around avoiding punches then he starts throwing big rights trying to catch me ..so I threw hard back because I'm nobodies punching bag round goes on and he keeps calling me back in and I knew what his intentions were but I didn't want to back down anyways long story short anger took over him , bell rings i quickly drop my hand to tap his glove and all of a sudden a got nailed right in the face with a right hand that SHOOK me the fuck up and covered up quickly and another 3-4 punches came
anyways I had contious of where I was at the time but when I walked out the ring I felt..confused and..strange and asked my coach if I had spar and teamates laughed cause they thought I was playing because I wasn't knocked down or anything nor did I look hurt ..after that day I was so fucking pissed because I was hit after the bell from some 1 from my OWN FUCKING GYM( first punch I can understand because I droped my hands but the other 3-4 was just rediculous i refused to spar this mother fucker again I do want to take his head off but a mistake from me could really hurt my health.

ok, first off ive only been boxing at my gym since july. today we had kind of a full gym so we were rotating people between bags and sparring drills, no headgear. I had to pair up with this angry ass guy whos prolly about 30 lbs lighter than me, but i landed the first couple jabs n whatnot faster than him so he gets mad at me. it wasnt one shot that hurt, but his first 'clean' combo was a left uppercut nut shot, left body hook and an overhand right ala chuck liddell. Im thinking, "if you know im a beginner, why would you go low?" and we both wound up pissed and going all out, very tense round. next time i want to put him on his ass as soon as i can without fighting stupid

I first said a body shot to my kidneys, which almost made my shit my pants. But now I thought about it and I think I'll have to change it to a groin shot. Nothing hurts more than a hook to the groin, especially from a trained boxer.

Left hook from this HUGE superheavy to the jaw. I was weighing about 86kg at the time, was much smaller than him, and listened to my coach's instructions of coming forward. Didn't think about headmovement while I was doing it.

My head rang for a while, and it was difficult to open my mouth.

This was years ago.
I always thought I had a preety good chin.
I have fought a few good fighters during my time and served as a sparring partner for a few guys who could really bang.
Up until this point, I was only knocked down only a couple of times and bounced back up immediately (no problems).
Then one day I was sparring with a smaller guy who in no way was in my shape and didnt look like he could punch.
I was giving him some free shots to my body.
All of a sudden he thru a right to the body followed by a left uppercut to my chin.
Althought I bounced up immediately, there was a vibration in my head that I could really feel and thought I could hear.
It was there for a good minute.
Anyways -- the round ended.
Moral of the story ---- no more free shots, hands up all the time and dont take anyone for granted.

First time back yesterday was pretty brutal. My stomach was full, my movements sucked and I kept lowering my guard but I also took some hooks that hurt. My first fight I got knocked the fuck out with an upper cut. Before the knock out I was fucking his ass up big time too!

Overhand right to the bridge of my nose.. I backed straight back with my left down.. Just heard a big ass thud and a buzz in my head.. 2nd worst was a left hook, dude side stepped to his right and unloaded that hook square on my nose.. I did not see it at all.. 2 real nice shots. Have not been down yet.. Those were the closest for sure.. Most painful was a wide left hook right where the jaw meets your ear.. Hurt like hell..

i was sparring with a very stocky middleweight when i was 18 , i was 218lbs at the time and was being told to go easy on him, i allowed him to get inside the pocket when i jabbed, he hit me kinda bolo style to my bottom rib .. I didn't want to carry on deep down but saw it through, that gave me a great respect for body shots..

Towards the end of a hard sparring session leading into a fight, i got tired and lazy and was breathing through my mouth. I was fighting a pretty cagey bloke who lead with a left hook that caught me flush on the chin but my mouth being open, it sort of pushed my bottom jaw a little bit. Hard to explain but it didnt tickle

Got hit in the adams apple.Made me gag on my mouthpiece.

Solar plexus punch.Got nailed in the first round.Ended up lasting the distance but couldn't really get anything going.Its like the punch took all the air out of my lungs.

Body shots seem to stay with you longer then head shots.

i was sparrin with a guy who is 80 something kg and im only 57kg....

i was goin alright but he was clearly breakin me down coz his punches were alot harder and i was getin tired and was havin a hard time keepin him off me....

in the 2nd round he landed a big uppercut and gave me a mad bloody nose.... then in the 3rd he cornered me and landed the hardest body punch i have ever taken right on the sweet spot.. and i buckled over fell into the ropes and coughed out the "no more"........

thats the only time i've ever really been hurt in boxing

In my third amateur fight, I lost a decision to a guy who hit me with the hardest right hand I ever been hit with, straight on the point of the chin. I was trying to take him out the whole fight so he kept countering me with that right hand. In the second round he hit me and I truly saw vapours for about 20 seconds. Fortunately he didn't noticed I was badly hurt. I took on him 11 months later and changed strategy, I feinted coming at him, so he tried to counter me with that right hand, then I countered his counter shots and won an easy decision. :happy

The hardest blow I have taken was when I sparred a friend in the basement area, and he kind of leaned forward awkwardly and headbutted me in the groin.

+ Solar plexus shot hurts A LOT more when you're actually dead tired :|

Just recently, actually. I was engaging inside with a very skilled, very strong, very well-thought of heavyweight who was, for a word, beating my ass. I made out more with this man's jab than any girl Ive ever had.

So I whip a right hook, a peach of a shot, and catch him. He has a reputation as being shaky, so I attack immediately hoping to give him a tense moment, and he hits me with this weird ass left hook at some weird angle.

Needless too say, I went down like a sack of potatoes. Ten seconds wasnt enough to get up.

i was sparring with a heavy and he caught me flush on the nose damn nearly took that nose off of my face. the worst punch i have been hit with was out of the ring on holiday i had been out and drinking and went outside and was sitting down on a wall looking to the right and someone clocked me from the other side just above my eye and took my wallet i was outtaz on the floor and couldnt see outta my eye for nearly 2 weeks 24 stitches.

It was 2 years ago. I was weighing 156 pounds and sparring a heavyweight in my gym who was about 6'2"-6'3" and weighed about 220 pounds. He punched really hard and I couldn't figure out how to stay out of range of his power. I would try to hit him a few times and get out of range but than I'd be on the end of his big punches.

I finally decided to get in close, smother him and not give him room to punch. He backed off and as he was doing so, I stepped with him so he couldn't get any punches off, well..he stepped back as I was stepping in and countered with a right uppercut to the jaw. It jarred my whole head and everything went black, I tried opening my eyes and all I saw was flashing lights. It was like somebody was taking pictures 3 inches infront of my face
