Yeah, agreed, my opinion was revoked as soon as Brett started his ground & pound. Fedor is a fucking beast though.
Great fight so far.

I loved it. Most guys who get ko'd have their tails between their legs. This dude gets up and basically says he wants to go back at it. That's a tough fuking guy right there. That KO didn't deter him one bit -- awesome.

I don't know what the point of this thread is. Rogers performed better against Fedor than anyone else has in years. I thought that he was going to get subbed the first time that the fight hit the mat.
He's not going to ever beat Fedor, but he's a decent fighter.

Fedor actually seemed a tad rusty in there. And look what happened.
Imagine what that rematch would look like. I doubt Rogers makes it to round 2, but he needs to be layed down again. Either Fedor does it again or maybe Overeem puts him down.

Brett put up a good fight. He surprised me a bit with his ability to fight off some of the grappling. However, I was sort of disgusted with the way that he acted afterwards. Fedor was being gracious in victory and referred to Rogers as a great fighter... and Rogers came off like an ass hole. I will give him the benefit of the doubt with it being his first loss, in the heat of the moment... and probably heart broken after feeling like he was on the verge of victory. Although personally I didn't feel that he was on the verge of victory at any point. For a brief second Fedor looked to be in trouble on the ground but obviously those punches didn't have a much of an effect on Fedor.
As far as the bleeding goes... that isn't anything new. It's rather common for Fedor to get busted up, and I have always said that his greatest risk is to lose on a cuts stoppage.
