Jeff Lacey

Jeff Lacy would be quite a step and quite a statement, a bit too early for such a step up though? Lacy has a good chin. I can't see Lacy taking the fight either, not enough money in it. He'd be better off fighting someone with a world ranking and trying to get himself back into contender status.

Funny thing is, I have a slight feeling Lacey was put there as a bit of a joke, but I'd like to see that fight.

Bellew would beat Lacy right now.

Of that I am certain.

I'd pick Lacy, his left hook is perfect for Tony's glass right tit.

I'd like to see him in with Oakey. (Bellew that is, not Lacy.)

Ovill McKenzie, JJ Ojuedrie, Bob Ajisafe, Carl Dilks, Joey Vegas, Darren Stubbs would all be decent tests.

Isnt it pretty much nailed on he will fight McEnzie for the commonwealth this year?

McKenzie would be a good fight and about the right step for me.

To me though...... there is little point messing around with cannon fodder at domestic level, he is 27 next I think.

He blew a guy away in the first round that took a current champ ten rounds - granted it was one weight class up, but still.......

Is Clev vacating the British title to go for EBU honours - if so he ought to be one of the challengers..... if not go straight for Clev.

Tony Oakey.

Oakey is the best LHW out there except for Clev. He is very tough and fights a hard 12 rounds at a good pace. Bellew might have to show other aspects to his game.

Or if Bellew bombs him out like everybody else then we know he's something special.

Whoever is the British Champion at the time

All in the next year please?

tony oakey would be a good test and would answer a lot of questions about bellew
