McCloskey is 30 years of age now but low milage on the clock. He has an unorthodox akward southpaw style. Kotelink coming off a loss to Khan could see the EBU belt as a route back to a world title!

I like both these fighters but for me MCloskey could have more desire but this would be a big jump in class ..... would be a good stylish fight as both fighters are excellent boxers .. Had the pleasure of meeting Kotelnik in Manchester and despite his lack of English he came across as a gent ... think he was surprised someone recognised him lol ...

McCloskey would beat him easy, trust me. Kotelnik is made for him. Lynes was like a Kotelnik-lite and McCloskey murdered him. A straight up, rigid boxing style is not very successful against the quick, awkward and unpredictable southpaw.

I have only seen Kotelnik three times..... he sort of gave away the Witter fight, edged out Maidana.... and the Khan fight :-(

Lynes head wasn't right that night, thats what beat him, not McCloskey. Having said that I like the look of McCloskey and would say that a match-up with Kotelnik would be 50/50...don't see it happening however
