I think Miranda caught way to much shit after losing to Pavlik. He was obviously exhausted and unable to fight his fight, even though i dont think the fight would have been a win for him if he was 100% anyways. Keep an eye out for him in SMW, i think he could go far.

I think Quintana is a guy to keep an eye on. He seems like a technically good sound fighter. For some reason, that night he fought Cotto, he seemed exhausted before they even fought. He seemed slower than his previous bouts and I dont know if u guys noticed, he had huge bags under his eyes, at the night of the fight, like if he wasnt sleeping due to the nerves or the partying.

That looks like an old photoshopped photo, but I'm happy to know that he's training. I would love to see Taylor-Miranda happen next year to get Miranda back in the mix and give Jermain a second chance to prove himself. I doubt that Taylor would face him after losing to a guy with a similar style in Pavlik though.

:good boxing needs more guys like pantera. fight's anywhere, no complaints about money, all action and never says die (much respect for not quitting in that massacre against pavlik). hope he comes back retooled and much better after that loss, losses are usually the best thing to happen to fighters anyway.

That pic was from a couple of days ago in Puerto Rico...here's the link...it's in Spanish.

Yeah, I recall seeing or hearing it somewhere ... I think in HBO special for someone that they train at the same location.

Yeah I know they both train in PR and are friends. But I think I've seen that same picture of Miranda before and it looks like someone just pasted both of them into that photo.

Great news! Miranda is good for boxing with his excitement. Good luck to him and can't wait to see how he does.

I agree that looks photoshopped. Look at the lighting comparing both fighters.:yep

Cool, it is good to hear. I think it is their coach that is shit. He needs to help them out quite a bit.

This is what I hate. The loser takes ages to comeback after a loss. Pavlik and Cotto got right back in the mix.

Look at young fighters mentality as racing cars.
Miranda wasn't just scratched, he ran right into the wall and will never be the same again, I seriously think this is the case.

As ballsy as Miranda is and I love that, he broke down mentally in the fight.

I expect both guys to pick up titles in the future. With Miranda fighting at 168 and Quintana at 154.

it's good that they both come back. They are both viable contenders and can hang in the ring with just about anyone. Mirandas loss to pavlik is nothing to be ashamed of. neither is quintannas loss to cotto. both of their losses were to good young fighters who are still to this day undefeated and legit contenders in their respective divisions.

Both these men could still become champs in their division in the future.
