but anyway , i'm just done watching this fight and everytime the guy was landing those kicks , i kept thinking of Aerts , Hoost , jlb , ignashov , crocop (prime crocop that is)...

Maybe Hoost could've had a chance in mma afterall...too bad he's too fucking old for this shit though.

Imagine if Jardine had hoost's low kicks!...
That fight would'a been over in the 1rst by ko...instantly crippling chuck.

Hoost wouldn't stand chance against quick and agile wrestlers. In a gameshow in Holland he was wrestled to the ground by a tv-presenter who he outweighed by 50 pounds. I heard Ernesto say one time that he likes to train in MMA but competing at a toplevel wasn't for him.

Everybody bitches about how sloppy Chuck's kickboxing is, but they forget that he comes from a wrestling background and his sublime ability to avoid takedowns and get back to his feet without being submitted is what enables him to do what he does. Chuck is a wrestler who uses his wrestling to knock people out, not a great kickboxer. Hoost has none of those abilities.

Ive always been impressed with Jardines leg kicks since I saw him get robbed vs Stephan Bonnar they just sound so fucking nasty. But he sure as fuck isnt Ernesto Hoost.

CroCop was never really known for his low kicks, mostly cus of his southpaw stance making it a little harder, LeBanner got off a few more because he's a right handed southpaw and was more comfortable throwing the lead leg. CroCop always prefered middlekicks and punches to lowkicks, although when CroCop did use them, they were highly effective, especially in MMA (him breaking Yoshida's leg was great)

i knwo but shit!...did you see how one dimensional liddell was? the guy wasn't even trying...no wrestling at all...and he tried to use his kicks maybe 3 or 4 times (only.)
