i voted juan but this shoud be a close fight and i wouldn't be near confident voting for either man without stating that this is a tough fight that could go either way.

I didnt like Juan Diaz for the longest time, but he has gradually earned my respect expecially with his last win over Freitas. That being said, I am rooting for Julio Diaz, but I think Juan's pressure will probably break Julio down.

:thumbsup

Juan Diaz is getting an undeserved hype.

Freitas wasn't hungry and beat himself really.

Freitas is alo known to quit...its an epidemic in boxing..someone beats an average guy like Freitas and all of a sudden he is put up into Godlike status so they can justify Juan being great.

Indeed. The only time Freitas showed any willingness to come back from adversity was against a one dimensional Barrios.

OK so he quit against Chico after the 3rd knockdown, understandable given the fact that he was facing the fiercest lighweight puncher and one more unnecessary shot might have ended his life but quitting against the weakest puncher next to spinks is unnacceptable. It's not like he was taking a sustained beating or anthing but he just decided to quit like a bitch. I don't like to call any boxer a bitch but he certainly acted like one against Diaz. What's funnier is that he had the audacity to be held up by his trainers as if he fought the fight of his life or something instead of putting his head down in shame.

Bottom line is that Diaz's victory over Freitas is no big deal and that certainly doesn't make him a world beater.

Julio Diaz is going to put on some hurtin on this chubby boy.

Right its so no big deal that Freitas was the one celebrating in the end... He thought he won:rofl :rofl
