Remember, those who would like to join the committee can apply in time for October 7. The idea is to include as many of ESB's great posters as possible, with the flexibility to keep growing as we progress.

Honestly, I even learn things from this 15 year old kid.

I love having discussions with him. I try to work with him on his fundamentals and stamina and once I get a car, I'll start driving him to the gym, but as far as strategy is concerned, kid knows his shit.

Why?

Because he fights people all the time. And granted, some of them blackout when they fight, just like everywhere else, but he also fights guys that know how to throw down.

Not only that, but he definitely knows how to box. Very good at it. Very, very good.

The knowledge about boxing in general is more important than real abilities to fight in the ring.

First, I've got to wonder why you're upset about this thread. Seems a silly thing to be throwing a fit over.

You have a point, but then there are guys like Brock's father. Not a lick of boxing experience, and he guided his son to world title contention with Kenny Weldon tapes. In short, boxing experience is very important when analyzing boxers, but there are guys with limited boxing experience who still know their stuff. Many of them prove it by correctly predicting fights.

Then there's the obvious--you have no way of knowing how good Achilles, Manassa, Amsterdam, and others are because you've never met them. For all you know, they are excellent amateurs or professional fighters. We have no way of knowing how good you are either, unless you are willing to post your record and best performances. We can only go by what people post on the forum--and these guys post good material.

So by all means, I encourage you to post analysis and fight predictions. If you're actually more experienced than any of the posters you're criticizing, everyone will look at your analysis and realize how knowledgeable you are. You have nothing to lose.

But Estrada will keep the pressure on him mate, Berto will fold from what I have seen in about the 4 that I have seen. If Berto cannot control the bout, I don't think he has the ability to 'dig' out a win.

Berto cannot stop Estrada IMO, it took Cintron 10 rounds and Mosely couldn't put a dent in him, Berto's power is heavily overrated, but he does have good speed and good precision, I just think he's very fragile.
