This Guardian article maybe of interest to some of you lot. All schools should have it, it will help keep those kids of the street with the knives and all.

In the next few weeks I will have a new boxing club opening up a minutes walking distance from my house. I think I may pop my head in to see. I havn't laced up the gloves in years since I was 6 now going on 28. Done it for a year and then the gym closed. After that a mixture of football and GAA football for me. Now I am a 2 stone over weight I think I may pop in to train a bit if they let me. Dont want to spar or shit just to work out more so than anything else.

Nah I'm still trying to convince the people who organised the fun run for the blind to organise a round robin boxing contest for the blind so I can beat those fuckers up. Once I've taken care of the blind and you've dealt with the kids maybe we can collaborate on a beating of another group.

they've been talking about this for a while. it's good news. amateur boxing is reasonably safe and great.
