you know when you watch a fight or the organise a fight and then think...how was this made? maybe they are on the same level but have been fighting in bizaar circumstances
evander holyfield - jamestoney a small middlewieght vs a small heavywieght and actually stops evander!!!
shane mosley - fernando vargas at jnr middlewieght a lightwieght who has gone up the wieghts fights a man who hasnt seen 9 years of service
terry norris - meldrick taylor meldrick is a tiny welterwieght let alone a light middle. and terry a brutal puncher with amazing hand speed and combo's non surprisingly drives him into the ground
chris eubank - carl thompson both british wbo champions with chris coming off a loss to calzaghe. he moves up to CRUISER and gives the lineal cruiserwieght champ a hell of a fight.

Lewis vs. Tyson: it took a long time to get everything OK with the timing and network rivalry.
Hopkins vs. De La Hoya: much credit to Oscar for being willing to move up to middleweight and fight Hopkins
Holyfield vs. Tyson: The title of the fight explained it. "Finally".

Back in 2003 when Floyd was at 135 and kept talking about fighting Oscar De La Hoya at 154 lbs, I definitely did not think it would ever happen due to the size difference.
Same thing with Roy Jones vs. Felix Trinidad, if the fight does take place as planned in January.

Ruiz- jones...jones is notoriously hard to negotiate with, and Ruiz just accepted everything.

Oscar De La Hoya vs Felix Sturm - Sturm was a sound technical guy who is a real middleweight and stronger than Oscar. I'm surprised they (Oscar's camp) would have made this fight happen.

To be honest, Mayweather v. Hatton, to a degree. But then again, I'm sure Floyd's ego couldn't stand the taunting.

I really started to believe Calzaghe / Kessler would never go down.
Recent years;
Oscar vs Hopkins.....Never once thought Oscar would be MAN enough to face someone like Hopkins....
PBF vs Hatton.......Never once thought PBF would be MAN enough to face Hatton
:smoke
:huh
Funny considering the facts that PBF made the initial offers and that Hatton was the one who turned PBF down multiple times a couple of years ago.
