So how would Hatton fair against the Weleter Weights?

Lets discuss.....(Only the champs and Mosely since he would most likely not fight another Collazo)

Cotto: I could see Hatton coming on top, Cotto has the strength and body punching..But i think Ricky would just beat him to the punchto a close decision.

Mosely: I dont think Ricky could handle Mosley, he wouldnt make Mosley back up, and wouldnt knock him out(Mosleys chin). I think Ricky will start to get tired before Mosley and Mosley will start winning rounds with all the prevuos being kind of close. But we havent seen Ricky hurt either so ill say a decent sized decision for Mosley on this one, a fast paced exciting fight from the opening bell...

Cotto: Hatton loses, gets bullied around on the inside and takes a brutal pounding till he gets KOed around the 7th or 8th.

Margarito: Hatton loses, Margo is too big and hits too hard for Hatton. Margo by KO.

Cintron: Hatton wins, guy is only a C level fight so yeah I can see Hatton's pressure wilting Cintron to a UD victory.

Mosley: Hatton loses by decision. Fight could be real ugly since Mosley doesn't mind wrestling around in clinches (see Forrest - Mosley II) but I think Mosley still has enough to pull this one off.






I just don't think Hatton faires well against the welterweights. Hatton is an elite fighter, but an elite fighter with a lot of holes in his game.

- Cotto 45%

- Cintron 95%

i think margarito will be the hardest, margarito is the biggest and the strongest, and ricky loves fighting on the inside.

Mayweather: Hatton gives him a pretty rough first 5-6 rounds, but then PBF takes control and wins a close but clear UD.

Cotto: This would be an all-out war. I think it would be 50/50, i think Hatton goes to the body just as good as Cotto but perhaps at 147 Cotto would be just abit too strong for Hatton.

Margarito: Hatton could slip inside and cause some real damage to Margies body. I think he would take some shots and get pretty badly cut on his way to a close UD win.

Cintron: Hatton wins this easily. This would be a mid-round KO.

Mosley: Another very close fight. Mosley of a couple of years back would probably win Hatton, but today i think it would be close. Hattons my boy, but i really like Mosley.. i think Mosley would pull out a close SD.

I was waiting for someone to post that, in all honesty I think Hatton would put up a solid fight against the other guys but for some strange reason and everyone can call me crazy if they like......but I think Cintron probably KO's the shit out of Ricky :oops: I just think the style match up is absolutely terrible for Ricky.....Don't get me wrong guys Ricky's one strong fucker and he deserves to fight with the elite no doubt but Cintron tears his head off.:yep

i agree, cintron is being underrated here because of the margo fight. he is a big welter with power, and with manny stuard on his side the man is more of a danger now than before. i think he beats hatton.

The size difference is amazing and Cintron is extremeley well conditioned, hits hard and is being trained by ES. I think Cintron is going to make some noise and real soon you just wait and see. Hatton would be a tough call for any fighter within the Welter divisions but for some reason I think he should stay far, far awasy from Cintron.
