Different type i'm going to add. It was more of an accumulated sensation type thing, i watched 2 or 3 fights of him on youtube and the domination just give me, well it's the thread title. Here's one snippet:

I was learning about Duran about three years ago,
hadn't heard of this Fight.
I see that it's only two rounds, and assume that Duran crushed him. :-(
Ruined the rest of my night.

An adequate adjective.:good
Love the look on Ali's face at 10 seconds in. "Eye of the tiger, man! Eye of the tiger!"

Man whoever submitted that version of the fight to youtube
gets big thanks from me.
The only other version was in such crappy quality, couldn't see the subtleties of Duran's work properly.

Fantastic thread!

The entire performance. The way Duran would sometimes stop and look at Barkley after getting hit as if to say, "how dare you hit me, I'm Roberto Duran". The way he hits Barkley with a right hand in the first round, badly hurting Barkley and having him out on his feet. Some felt Barkley was going to do a demolition job, and it's Barkley whos hurt. Barkely was in trouble. Late in the fight, Duran dodges 4-5 jabs..effortlessly, stops to pause as if to say, "You've never fought someone like me before, and you never will again" then he lands a one-two. The entire performance was capped off by Duran eating the biggest left hook you'll ever see...and come back swinging.

Nice ones with the Marciano and Duran-Barkley, well fitting here.
Hope some of you liked the Gushiken one though. Okay i'm off now, later.

I think Riddick Bowe had something along the lines of Rnd10 as a license plate.

To be fair goosebumps is more of a feeling of awe and silent shock.
My choice, Bob Foster, my choice, is more chilling.

The way Benvenuti staggers into the corner with Monzon coldly going after him, and the subsequent finishing right........it's as though Nino knew what was coming and retreated into the corner to prepare himself for the end. Horrible and yet grimly compelling.

Oh damn. I uploaded the Marciano vs Moore 9th round but not the Marciano vs Charles I 15th round. That's goosebumps. A lot of the fight is really. Round 4, 6, 10, and 15 were really big wins. Watching Marciano non-stop punch in the 15th round against Charles who just takes the brunt of the punishment is amazing. It's mesmerizing how Marciano just keeps punching and punching. It doesn't seem possible. After a long grueling fight to throw 100+ punches in the final round.

One thing that always made an impression on me was the Louis vs Schmeling 2
Just seconds before the KO Louis is thrown back across teh ring and he eds up looking out to the crowd and he truns and you see the fear in his eyes as he sees Schemling coming to finish him. It gives you goosebumps to see such a powerful, big, great Heavyweight like Louis so helpless like a rabbit caught in the headlights.
