Yup - he would fight James Toney and Wladimir Klitschko, but John Ruiz? No chance in hell

Many fighters are scared of Ruiz. I would be, too. He cheats, hugs, and makes you look awful.

It would be a bad matchup for Peter if he didnt knock out Ruiz early.

You think Wlad clinched alot against Peter? I'm not sure Peter would even get a shot off against Ruiz.

Why is the division so bad right now? I think the potential is there right now as far as prospects go , and the fact that Peter and Vlad both having belts simultaneously make the future of unification look a little more mouthwatering. Holyfield v Ibragimov is very intriguing and Chagaev having the fourth quarter as a very dedicated tough willed beltholder , The next 10 months may allow us for once to see the cream rise to the top. Remember , before Mike Tyson rescued the division , the holders were strong fighters who were hungry , but they were never as great as those slightly before them (Holmes, Frazier, Norton...) The Championship has become cheapened of late , but i do see a light at the end of this tunnel..
Or i hope so..:good

no doubt you would pay to see it....we would see the reemergence of the greatest heavyweight since Lewis, and the future three time heavyweight champion like Ali.

Greatest since Lewis?? Good lord, you HAVE to be joking.....or delusional.:nut
Ruiz is quite probably the most limited fighter to EVER hold a world title belt - something he would NEVER have done without the influence of Don King!:patsch

physical limitations have nothing to do with accomplishments.
Soon, Ali and Ruiz will be mentioned side by side as 3 time heavyweight champions.

At least you admit Ruiz is limited. What you don't seem to realize is that his so-called "accomplishments" are virtually entirely the product of CHEATING - continual violation of the most basic rules in the sport against excessive holding, and even worse, faking low blows in several fights. His connections with King are what allowed him to get away with this chicanery.:fire
Pure and simple, Ruiz is a fraud - always has been, always will be. No even semi-knowledgable boxing fan will ever equate his illegitimate achievements with Ali. Hell, his achievements don't even equate with Hasim Rahman's!!:patsch

Ruiz has a lot of skills that could give anyone problems, But in this case Sammy is more than likely going to lay Johnny to rest..........
The Tua treatment part 2..

I dont think Peter is afraid of anyone.....The Klitschko's on the other hand do avoid some fighters.

Peter cant box anyway.
Telegraphs his big bombs from way back.
He is made to order for Ruiz.
I believe that he is indeed scared shitless of Ruiz.
Ruiz would definitely make him look bad.
This would result in lowering his appeal, which in turn
would result in lowering his worth in dollars.
He loses to Ruiz, he will have to beg for a title shot.
Definitely be on the very short end of the purse split.
