Whats up with the brit forum? No ones talking about Munroe tonight. He's in an eliminator for the WBC world title and in, what should be, the first real test of his life.

Where's the love people? Why aren't you on here talking about the boy. I know the brits are having success but another man this close to getting a world title shot has to be noteworthy.

And Maladrottu has to be there for the taking too. What do people on here expect to see. I'm going 116-112 ish Munroe

Don't think Munroe sets the pulses racing and I think most see him as European but not world class. He's not the most exciting to watch stylistically and lacks power. I suppose he might be more motivated for this one though.

That said I'm kinda looking forward to it, any boxing is good.

Munroe will probably win by decision, Maludrottu looked in good shape at the weigh in so I'd expect a good showing from him.

Yeah I know Munroe doesn't excite. He doesn't excite me either but hes ascended to the place where hes one fight away from having the chance to fight for a world title (not too sure he'll go looking for Nishioka if he does win though).

Like I said its not like the boys in here to be so quiet about their own. Spoiled by recent success I reckon :good

I just think its that Munroe doesn't excite, thats all it can be. Moore was in a very similar situation where he was knocking on the door for a title shot, even before the Rhodes bout, and there was a lot more buzz about him.

We should all get behind him though, he's a good solid and honest fighter and will put up a good fight against a Nishioka.

what weight class is he fighting at..?

But lets be honest, no one really cares about fights below Welter Weight...anymore.

I have no idea, what the Land Scape is like down there..? who's who and what not...?

I will watch him fight tonight, but it's pretty shitty at them lower weights.

Unlike the days of Prince Naseem and the rest etc..

I'm a real boxing fan..I'm just stating it how it is..The General Public and about 40% of boxing fans, don't really care about the lower weights. You have hardcore fans, educated fans, then what i like to call,....normal fans. The Lower weights do not generate as much interest as the Welter Weights do etcIf they did, the British Public would know of Munroe and be backing him more.

It's been a very nice fight so far, Munroe's clearly losing though.
