For fucks sake, this forum is becoming almost unreadable.
I actually used to like both Hatton and Calzaghe, now I want to see them both beat up to the fucking pulp.
And some say Pacquiao fans are bad :admin This lot tops it, honestly...
Come to think of it, it's nothing new, you have the poms claiming the English are one of the best teams in the World Cup each year:rofl
Have any of you morons actually WATCHED Castillo's performances in his last two fights prior to Hatton? Wake up to yourselves.
Hatton is very much like the English football side, committed and hard-working but technically bereft compared to Spain/Brazil (Mayweather/Wright)
Spain? What the fuck? They are even bigger flops than us at football. Out record is far more impressive than theirs is.
And wilst the England team doesn't win anything, we have the potential to. How many teams have been truly better than ours in the last 5 or so years/ We have, if you count each player indivually, probably the 3rd greatest team in the world.

And you think this is really gonna help, Sizzle? Or are you just basically doing the same thing yourself?

I will be at the Singapore National Stadium on Saturday to cheer on The Lions as they assuredly get annihilated by the Socceroos!
Seriously, I think most of the Brit fans are ok by and large. The Calzaghe fans rightfully have a lot to cheer about but the Hatton fans I do find somewhat annoying, in a tragic and pitiful kind of way.

It is really that unthinkable the Brits have two elite fighters? They (the Brits) are claiming two of their fighters are special, which enrages people! Yet Americans can still claim a 43 year old is P4P top 5.

I say cheers to you Brits. Hatton and Calzaghe are exciting fighters, and I'm a fan of both.

I think you are perpetuating a myth. Check out the British Boxing Forum, it's full of slags critisizing Hatton for all manner of bizarre, mostly non-boxing related reasons.
Most just find the absolute dismissal of Hatton's weekend win as ludicrous and unfair.

Calzaghe summed up the british attitude in the 12th against Lacy....Had the won by an absolute mile, and yet still tried to go for the ko

If Americans had Pacquiao or Hatton they would be irritating too trust me. British fans are just being fans just like any other fans out there.
