Once again, Baroni gasses in about a minute, and then gets picked apart for the next 14 minutes. Wow, he took an absolute beating to the leg, body, and head. I'm not sure he's going to be able to get out of bed for a week or two.

It's pretty damn annoying that they replay the free prelim fights during the PPV. "Hey, you just watched this for free an hour ago, and now you're paying to see the same damn thing!"

Impressive win for Koscheck in a pretty dirty fight. Rumble lands a knee to a downed opponent, and Kos pays him back with a blatant eye poke. I guess it evens out.

Tito looks pretty beat up before the fight even starts.

Also, why does Bruce call Ortiz a "submission fighter". I'm sure Tito decides what he's called, but it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I think Forrest got the first round and Tito the second. Close rounds. Forrest is cut real bad at the end of the second round.

Forrest dominates the third round standing. Tito fails two shots for a takedown.

It is absolutely ridiculous that two former champions can't fight in 5 round fights. In boxing the top of the food chain fighters all fight 12 rounds title or not. I don't think EVERY fight should be for 5 rounds, but Main events between two fighters with 5 round experience should be allowed to be 5 rounds.

Forrest wins a split decision.

That would have been nice if it went 5 rounds. First round was close, second was Tito's, and the third was clearly Forrest's. I can see this going either way, but I have Forrest.

Man, Tito needs someone to teach him how to not be easily hated.

I fucking lol'd at Tito's heel turn at the end, then rambling on about dedicating the fight. He even manages to be the bad guy in his home town at the end of the day.

Great fight, but you could tell Tito was fucked in the third, nonetheless I still gave Griffin the first two rounds, his striking was just a lot more effective than Tito's 3/4 takedowns, the only damage he really did was with an elbow, I can't give him the fight for that.

Made me really admire Forrest Griffin again though, great guy, who gives a shit if he's an asshole, he's entertaining as hell, and humble admitting that Silva whipped his ass bigtime.

Also, fuck yes Koscheck, I was watching that thinking Johnson was going to squash him like a bug but was pleasantly surprised, good event.

Roll on UFC 107, Penn rapes Staring Sanchez, Johnny Hendricks fights and Clay Guida's on the bill too. What more can you ask for?

It's either that or we watch them pan across the audience. They gotta save something for the quick stoppages.

I can't wait for the Penn-Sanchez staredown. Penn doesn't seem as angry as Sanchez, but just as intense.

I don't really see Penn doing much. The staredown from Guida/Sanchez was probably my top 3 favourite UFC moments so far, next to the Rashad knockout and Brock Lesnar's "A COORS LIGHT" rant.

They need more prelims, then. Or they could have Arianny dance for 10 minute stretches, and perhaps, make out with Logan a little. That would also be acceptable.

Nogueira looked incredible tonight id like to see him in their with the Evans-Silva winner possibly because this guy is a true contender and has been for years. I think he would test Shogun-Machida winner quite honestly hell we seen him go very close with Shogun in 05 in that classic battle. I thought Koscheck looked great and proved overwhelming for a untested Anthony Johnson he looked lost off his back IMO. I enjoyed the fight aside from that frequent fouls. I would perfer Koscheck-Hardy first in February especially if GSP is still injured. I personally thought Tito edged the first 2 rounds but the first is really debatable as Forrest did good damage with those leg kicks which proved to pay off HUGE in the 3rd round. Great great fight but Tito just still has evolved enough his shots did look good the first 2 rounds but he didnt check enough kicks and gassed due to it. Since neither are close to a title shot id like to see Tito finally get an easier fight maybe with Stephan Bonnar while Forrest gets a also somewhat easier fight with a Jardine rematch hopefully setting up a trilogy. IMO not much was settled nothing because it was another SD and who wouldnt enjoy Ortiz vs Griffin III ?

The PPV price probablly goes up a bit but who gives a fuck right :hey The fights would be secoundary at that point you could give me Fedor vs Lesnar any fight involving GSP-Henderson-Anderson-Belfort and any combo of Mousasi-Machida-Shogun and ill still be more hyped for a sexy make out contest.

I thought the main event was horrible. I'm not sure why people would want to sit through a third fight? It would be pointless to have a trilogy, but then again the UFC seems to be running out of main event match ups.

Yes, Ortiz gave the fight to him in the third round by doing nothing. The first fight was a lot better.

Tito did nothing in the 3rd. Forrest should have went for the finish. Shit I could have whooped Tito's ass if he fought against me like he did in the 3rd

Fair play to Forrest. Good showing after the recent hammerings he has took.

I thought it was an awful fight too. Forrest's sweep near the end of the second was the only thing I thought was exciting. Forrest was hitting Tito at will in the last round, but everybody knew he didn't have the power to knock him out so there really wasn't any suspense.

Tito is a great shit talker though, and I'm sure they'll leverage that skill to sell a third fight down the line.

Jardine is a terrible matchup for Forrest I think. Jardine loses to guys with power and Forrest just doesn't have any.

Yes, Ortiz gave the fight to him in the third round by doing nothing.

I didn't understand why Tito just stood there in the 3rd round. It was as though he thought he had won the first two rounds decisively (which he didn't). Either way, I'm glad he lost.

Well then lets do the rematch because I wouldnt exactly cry if Jardine made Forrest wheap agian.

I would perfer Koscheck-Hardy first in February especially if GSP is still injured. Lil Nog did great. To be honest I thought Cane would take him out, but it turned out to be the other way round. Wouldn't have been surprised if Lil Nog won a decision, but he took him out in style and pretty quickly. I'm sure Cane will be back though, he needs to learn from this. Fair play to both Johnson and Koshceck, they took a tough fight on short notice. I also want to see Kosheck vs Hardy, but I think the UFC has already decided Hardy will get his shot at GSP. I also hope Johnson now moves up to 185.
