I dont see anything gay in it, but I agree it has little or almost no value. Every boxer fight differently. This takes into account just two things.

Still, it can be an interesting, though probably useless, metric. He tries to remove the padding aspect by only using ranked fighters and only the 10 previous fights.

Also remember that his system just tells you how exciting someone is and not how good they are. I don't know if it will work, but it's a novel idea.

Interesting article. It needs some twisting though or maybe a lot of twisting. In the end, it will be just an article so that we have something to read. It is supposed to rank the most exciting boxers in the sport but the most exciting boxer, Manny Pacquiao, is not even listed.

I think it's an interesting statistic. Obviously it could use A TON of tweaking, but it does give a general idea of exciting fighters to watch; for a slugfest anyways. But who doesn't like a good slugfest???
