I've got a fight coming up on Oct 7th and I wanted to ask about how to get ready on those last days. Mainly, I'm looking for advice on tapering down so I'm at 100%. I'm going to keep my diet the same and not change anything up to the fight. But as far as my training what should I change?
Current training:
Train at the gym from 6-8pm, Monday - Friday.
Spar twice a week.
Run 3 miles in the morning Wed, Thrus, Saturday.
The fight is on a Sunday. When is the last day I should spar? What is the last day I should train in the gym? Should I continue to run next week? Thanks!

I think you got it together pretty good. I'd taper the running off the week of the fight to save your legs. Fighting on Sunday I would spar lightly Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday maybe...then just focus and relax the rest off the week.
Good Luck
I would continue routine cept for the running on saturday maybe just go a shorter distance than normal.(instead of 3 maybe 2 or somethin). And I would only reccomend light sparring just to be safe. I screwed myself over a couple times in fights because I trained as hard as I could that week. Don't want to do that really.
