that is good to hear. this fight has to be made quick. another flaw in boxing is that controversy dies and fighters are forgotten. i was hoping this rematch would happen much quicker.

Because Dunky said so and that is final.

Because Fury is clearly lacking at the world level. Do you think Haye would have struggled with McDermott?
Fuck, even Skelton dealt with McDermott pretty easily. One round TKO wasn't it?

Correct. Fury over-rated, a guy his size and punches like a middleweight FFSake.

Wait, the re-match won't happen because Fury is lacking at World Level?
Both lads are lacking at World Level, no reason not to have another crack at it.

Exactly.
Give Fury a break. He's hardly a seasoned Pro yet (I know he talks himself up). Again we should be pleased their is a fighter out there who wants to fight the best.
Personally I think we need to wait till after the re-match to see how good Fury is.
For me though Price is the better prospect!

Price is the better prospect mate, no doubt. He's still got a very long way to go in the pro-trade, but I think if handled rightly he could actually become a World level Heavyweight.

How can I give him a break when, no sooner has he looked guff against McDermott, he starts saying he can beat David Haye!?
That is the problem with him. If he keeps saying he's a world-class fighter, I'm going to judge him by the standards of one.

Forget about Fury. Price and Dallas are the only real prospects

thing is they dont get the floating fans and half interested public talking do they ?
Tyson Fury on name alone interests people, and when they see a half manc/half pikey ( is there a difference really ? ) giving it the big un, it makes casual observers interested = ticket sales and viewing figures, skill sometimes takes a back to seat to the marketability of a fighter
Richie Woodhall.. World champ, good boxer, lovely bloke, didnt really capture the imagination of the public.

Dallas is as stiff as a board, won't get beyond domestic contender level...Price didn't look all that last time out
