LONDON (Reuters) ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) - Two men have been charged with the murder of former heavyweight boxing champion James Oyebola, Scotland Yard said on Wednesday.
Oyebola, 47, died in hospital in July after doctors switched off his life-support machine.
He had been shot in the head and leg four days earlier at a bar in Fulham, west London, following a row over smoking.
Rene McKoy, 19, and Kanyanta Mulenga, 22, both from southwest London, are due to appear at West London Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
It looks hopeful that his killers will face justice, as many here expressed hope that they would. RIP.
