Taylor has good hand speed, and decent power. His jab can pose some serious problems for Pavlik. Taylor does not look as good bringing the fight to someone. He won't have to worry about that in this fight. Pavlik will come after him from the start. I'm leaning toward Taylor at this point. It's one thing for Pavlik to walk up to someone that welcomes an inside war. He will have to deal with Taylor's outside game. Pavlik's style looks like it's made to order for Taylor. I'm taking Pavlik by a brutal KO in this one, and if Taylor tries to play the tough guy with Kelly this fight won't last more than 6 rounds. On the other hand, if Taylor tries to get on his bicycle and potshot his way to a decision, Kelly WILL catch him. The only real question for me is about Kelly's hand speed, or rather, lack of hand speed. Taylor might pull off the win IF he stays away from Pavlik as much as possible and can manage to keep Kelly from landing many flush shots. However, I think that Kelly will be able to catch him and land flush in the latter rounds, and it don't take many of those brutal freaking combinations to end the fight. Thank you for mentioning this, notice how Taylor has trouble with guys who have good defense such as a technician like B-Hop, Winkys peek-a-boo defense, and Spinks hit and run..but the one recent guy who didn't run away was Kassim Ouma and JT easily beat the guy (if you think otherwise, just leave the forum) You can't look at Taylor's performance against Spinks and say, "Oh, there's no way he can beat Pavlik!"
