Seldon, Ahunanya and the ever dangerous TBA.
OK, so the opponents aren't going to challenge him, but hopefully there'll be a few rounds to be had, and this gets the MaoriTV deal out of the way.
I expect to see a fit, rust free Tua after these fights who's looking for a big fight, and is in the physical and mental shape to really put some pressure on.

Another year, another promise from Kushner saying that Tua will fight for a world title late next year. Well the important thing is that Tua is keeping active. 84 days is a big turnaround for him.

There has been talk from Kali Meehan's management that they have received an email from Tua and verbal assurance from Kushner telling them of Tua's desire to fight their man. The honour of being the best heavyweight in Oceania region. Meehan has already said that he is interested in fighting Tua after the Chagaev fight. Meehan's manager said that the fight is definitely happening in 2010. Maybe that is the plan for Team Tua, Meehan to win some unworthy belt against Chagaev, Tua to beat his 3 opponents and the pair to meet for the 'world title' in late 2010.

If Tua is fighting the likes of Seldon to get the maori TV deal out of the way, he's already lost time, should have done at least one in november/december to make good use of his good shape. Chauncy would have been a good option.

Anyway, good news, Ahunanya is a good fight and Seldon is decent.

Meehan would be perfect for Tua, not much of a tecnical fighter and no granite chin as well. A probable Ko win for Tua. Only that I think they are losing the moment to make it. After Chagaev the chance for this fight may be ruined as Meehan can become mandatory for the WBA belt or just a inactive fighter, with a poor ranking, coming of a loss.

Hmmm

ppl are mentioning at the Golota bandwagon that there is a possibility for Tua vs Golota for next year.

Anybody heard anything like that?

Tua by murder.

Man, Golota can't get enough, can he?

Now that I'd pay to watch. They'd need to hire a set of scales from a zoo for the weigh in though.

These 3 will be free to air on MaoriTV in NZ - they also set a precedent by streaming Camerons fight before Tua for free from their site - so you may not have to pay a cent - remains to be seen.

Sounds good mate. Fights like that would make great free to air viewing. It'd certainly help the sport.

Yeah boxings gonna have a pretty good push towards the mainstream in 2010 in NZ.
Tua's having these 3 quick fights, maybe even a 4th before the end of the year if they can organise it.
Cameron is having 5 fights (6 if they can fit them all in) in 2010.
And it looks like some of the Aussie heavies might finally have a go at each other.
These will all be free to air - unless Tua finds an opponent that will sell for one or 2 of his.
Add to that Pac-May, which is already getting some pretty decent mainstream media attention here.
Gonna be a good year down under :good
