I don't think Mitchells next opponent has been announced and I expect this is just a tune up fight before the big one he has got lined up in December.

it really annoys me when mitchell makes statements about how he would thrash khan and arthur, yet he hasnt fought an opponent of limonds caliber as of yet, the boy really should calm down.

We will see whether Mitchell can live up to his claims on December 8th when he fights the winner of the upcoming Gomez v Johanneson bout.

Yeah you expect fighters who have been out for a while to have a tune up but mitchells forever feasting on european imports with little notice.I cant believe he still hasnt fought a decent domestic fighter yet.Hes hardly a novice pro anymore

lay off mitchell...he's already unified the inter-continental belts!

i will be impressed if the fight against the winner of johanneson/ gomez goes ahead in december though. if he wins that, he'll be second only to alex arthur as a british superfeatherweight and can look to make a name for himself on the world scene next year.

is the fight next week going to be a 12 rounder? i don't think it will be anyone too taxing as the december fight is the big one.

unified intercontinetal belts? you must be having a laugh? those belts dont mean any thing especially when your fighting piss poor opposition.
the kids been in with blown up mediocre level eastern european journey men!! he's hasnt mixed in with any tough domestic fighters thus far, the kid needs a slap over the head, khans still a novice in the pro game and despite all his flaws he still continues to fight better quality fighters then mitchell.

i was clearly taking the piss :D

but still...if he does fight and beat johanneson in december he'll at least be at the top of the domestic scene.

according to boxing news mitchell is scheduled to fight a certain mr OSUMANU AKAAVA from ghana who once held the prestigious WBC inter title and boasts a 10-2-1 8 kos record. hes never thought outside of ghana and will challenge for mitchells commonwealth tilte.oh and his knickname is the golden boy.

Mitchell inside 4 rounds i reckon

Mitchell won't be fighting on the Khan v Lawton undercard after all. He was due to make the second defence of his Commonwealth Super Featherweight Title but has a virus.

He might fight my dad, or my postman. If it hasn't been announced by now then odds on it won't be defining.

I have never seen a promoter use such a method as much as ****** - he uses fighters to promote a card and then they won't fight. This happens on pretty much every bill.

Couldn't agree more. Its not just Mitchell on this one, Earl was also meant to be fighting on the undercard and now he is not on the latest schedule either.
