There were rumors about this fight possibly happening in the nearby future, any news on that?
This fight could be a mandatory to every boxing organization out there, both are highly ranked. In fact, it should be a major title fight, for the fighters involved and its importance.
Who wins?

Virchis by KO ?
i voted dimetrenko points.
you have to crowd dimetrenko and pressure him otherwise he uses good feet and a good fast jab to dominate.
i think virchis feet are to slow to press the fight and it would be up to dimetrenko to make a mistake to lose the fight.
i am guessing he would not and win a saftey first points descion.

I think Virchis KO´s him late. Alexander boxes his ears off IMO for almost all rounds, but anytime Virchis catches him. Dimitrenko showed in the past a weak fighter-mentality and a shaky chin, and I think Virchis, who´s a big one-punch-artist, will land something heavy in this bout. But, who knows, perhaps Dimitrenko proves me wrong...

I'd prefer this fight doesn't go down.
I'd rather see them meet second tier Americans who are
reasonable well known.
I don't get the reward value on this match-up.
Seriously - if not a US fighter then what about Audley Harrison.
Mention his name and it invites ridicule - I know.

I quite agree with you,luigi!
Virchis would probably take out Dimitrenko in one of the later rounds.Virchis can be outboxed as could be seen in his encounters with Bidenko and Sprott, but I somehow doubt that Dimitrenko would be able to be focused and concentrated on a tactical fight throughout 12 long rounds.
Virchis just needs one good punch in order to knock his opponent down to the ring dust

Any body knows what next for Virchis, now Dimitrenko will fight Hoffman , soo who will fight Virchis. It will be good to see Virchis vs Tua , or Virchis vs Holmes.
Kohl must found one hard opponent for Virchis to keep him on good form and to give him chance for world title.

Bidenko is scheduled to face George Arias on the undercard of Felix STurm vs Randy Griffin.
I would rather see Virchis take on a well known American or get a shot at a world title to seeing him cross the swords with Bidenko again.
I like both Bidenko and Virchis.
Well, their first encounter was pure fun to watch. What a dramatic and entertaining fight it was.One of the most exciting heavy weight fights I have seen within the last couple of years.
A rematch between them is for sure a very promising matter. However, neither Virchis nor Bidenko would earn a lot of bucks fighthing each other.
