Ive seen loads of classic individual rounds .. Hearns v Hagler rd 1 is a great call, so much needle and hype before the fight and then when the first bell went both fighters came in all guns blazing, pure excitement.
Morales v Barrera rd 5 was also another classic, Barrera seemingly eating some smooth shots from Erik but then coming back with the crowd all standing and cheering, fantastic ....

My all time favourite has to be Holyfield v Bowe 1, rd 10 .. Bowe catches Holyfield early in the round with a beautiful, heavy uppercut that scrambles Holyfield's senses, Holyfield is staggering around the ring taking more heavy shots from Bowe but he wont go down, his heart refuses to give in, after what seems and endless bombardment from Bowe, Holyfield reaches deep within his soul and starts firing back, the crowd and the watching public on TV cant believe it, they are mesmerized by the guts of this old-school warrior. Holyfield starts catching Bowe with some great shots and then the bell sounds to end what must be one of the greatest rounds of all time !!

Im pretty sure Gatti had some great individual rounds too, cant accurately pinpoint them at the moment .. Interesting thread this ..

Holyfield v Bowe 1, rd 10 for me ....

I think round 1 of Arguello-Pryor I is every bit as good as the opening round of Hagler Hearns. Absolute mayhem with both men throwing caution to the wind, along with every punch in the book, at each other. It set the standard for a phenomenal fight.

Round 5 of Barrera-Morales is another obvious one. It never fails to impress me and I don't even know how many times I've watched that fight.

Round 3 of Marquez-Vasquez II is amazing also. Two fighters who are perfectly matched, trading power shots at a very high skill level taking turns at stunning each other and almost scoring the ko.

My favourite ever though, is Castillo-Corrales round 10. It's got everything that you could ever want in a single round. The fact this all took place after 9 rounds of warfare makes it all the more incredible.

Another one is Gatti-Robinson I round 6.

Only Gatti has been in several rounds like this. Ivan stuns him badly then, as he flurries and goes for the finish, Gatti lands a thunderous right hand. This stuns Robinson and Gatti pummels him over the second half of the round.

Absolutely brilliant.

Austin may have been past prime, but not by much and with a KO % over 80% he had very few miles on the clock....a very good win for Marquez, typical Mexican fighter, enough said really:deal

A good round of boxing, but all those moobs on display are fairly disconcerting. There was more back-bacon in that ring than on a Danish pig farm.

Minto should boil down to cruiser, and Christine should just shape up, he has a decent engine and all the excess blubber isn't doing him any favours

So, whos your favourite fighter then?

Sugar Ray Leonard, he had everything despite what morons on forums say .... Holyfield was a a guy that sparked my emotions, never consistent but always prepared for a war, and always giving it his all .. The last truly great heavyweight Champion in my opnion, Lewis used his jab and his natural superior size to dominate from center, just like both Klits do, these guys arent proper fighters, they've never had to dig deep within themselves, Lewis and Wlad either get sparked out or dominate with the jab, Vitali either dominates or quits with a shoulder injury when the going gets tough .....

Holyfield is the last true Heavyweight Champion, thats a fact !!:deal
