Here is a vid of him taken today I believe. Does anybody know what he weighed in at? And why has he changed trainers. Him and Valle Jr. had a good thing goin there, why would he change to Chuck McGregor? And who is Chuck McGregor?

You're right, he looks good! Curious as to what he weighed in there...

Comparing to this standard physician's scale of comparable model, my guesstimate is about 242-244? If so, good for him! :happy

How can you help but root for Oleg?

How can you help but root for Oleg?Agreed with everything you said my friend. I think he will weigh in around what you said, maybe a little heavier, and he is such a nice guy (in a sport filled with unsavory elements) that you can't help but not pull for Maskaev.

Much ado about nothing:D

Have just looked up his opponent's fight record! If Maskaev cant beat these kind of opponents anymore-even at this age of his long career in the paid ranks-he should immediately retire for good.

That's pretty much a given. Probably moot, though - a rededicated and conditioned Maskaev should not only beat but destroy Aguilera.

His shape was never the problem, it was bad management and his chin.

His chin's not terrible, really. He's just taken stupid shots.

Well, so much for the great shape... You just can't beat father time, Maskaev was always unbelievable slow and obviously it wasn't getting any better at age 40. But it's for the better anyway, he just doesn't belong in title fight or even eliminator. Austin of course as well, but that another story.

I agree to a certain extent. But once he gets that dazed look on his face, it's over. He has very bad recovery abilities.

I'm gutted for him. I hope Oleg retires. I rooted for him all his career
