I just watched an old tape of Camacho Jr v Jessie James Leija, I forgot what a sorry lack of balls and cowardice Camacho displayed that night.. The eye was fine and he was pawing at it to make it look worse than it actually was.. He had the gaul to think he had won.. Leija should have been awarded the victory on ethical grounds.. I thought Camachos display was cringeworthy.. an embarrasment..
Anyone remember that one..?

It was funny how Leija kept knocking Camacho Jr. for quitting, but Leija (and his corner) did the same thing in his fight with Ward.
Granted, Leija's cut was worse, but he still came across as a hypocrite.

What talent? He was living off his father's legacy.

Oh yeah. After that fight, he didn't occur to me as a fighter anymore....kinda like how Hamed didn't occur to me after Barrera owned him.

Camacho is all talk and lives off his fathers name. Lacking talent, out of shape with a weak record. On his best night he isn't his father on his worst night.

I wouldn't go that far.
Camacho Jr. had some speed, pop, coordination, athleticism.

How about Aaron Pryor Jr 8-0(6), young middleweight prospect? Hawk time?

No doubt! He COULD HAVE been better than his daddy! he had the talent and the skills were there..although they needed to be refined quite a bit, but he didn't have the HEART! No Cojones!! But he showed speed, reflexes and power! It's a shame he didn't have the mind set nor the heart to match the got given attributes he showcased. Oh well....water under the bridge!

Shame on a phoney fighter, he had skills but thought the streets were just paved with gold for any boxing young talent.. He just thought his shit didn't stink..

obviously camacho jr. wasn't going to be as tough as his pops ... while his father grew up in el barrio spanish harlem in johnson projects camacho jr. grew up with a spoon in his mouth ! His dad was a rich man when he was a youngster ... hence camacho jr. had the talent but not the grit to go with it

I would expect much, b/c his brothers have amounted to nothing
