Yes. They both said they'd fight each other for free but in the end they decided to duck each other.

nope.
Witter never deserved a fight against Hatton, who always had 'bigger fish to fry'.......such as Vilches, Steven Smith, Pedersen, ancient Oliveira, 'no joke' Stewart etc etc etc

ancient oliviera? the guy same you picked to beat ricky? Tyszu, Maussa (a guy who you said would give Ricky hell for 12 rounds?) Laczano, Urango, Castillo, Mayweather, Mallinaggi, Pacquiao.
Remind what Witter did again? Didn't he fight in front of 2 thousand fans at the ally pally the night before hatton fought in vegas in front of a sell out crowd?

I just had a lovely bowl of Just Right cereal for breakfast. Washing it down with a nice cup of tea.

That's nice. But I hate that Just Cereal on principle. How can some fucker sell me something in a box and now it'll be just right?

That's true, but I've had no real complaints thus far. Sometimes the raisins can be a little chewy though, so I guess that contravenes the 'Just Right' label. What kind of cereals do you eat?

I think that back in the day at domestic level Hatton v Witter was a real 50/50 contest and Hattons promoter at the time was more than concerned about rolling the dice with Witter...:yep
I have said this many times on here but back then I think that Witter may have had the beating of Hatton...:yep
Not what many will want to read on here, but Hatton was equally protected...:yep

Bunce did an article or a radio show about this topic. Someone put it up as a thread acouple of months back. I think it's called 'Bunce: Why Hatton never faught Junior' or something similar. Have a look!

Hatton offered Witter a career high payday and it was refused. Think it was something like 200k at the time it was offered and Witter wanted more. That was after he said he would fight Hatton for free.
:nono I'd like a source for that please
