HBO Need to step up to the plate and make this fight happen they have the power to make it happen it will be tricky for floyd to negotiate with Arum but we know how much he loves money if enough is offered it will happen. Heres how i see Negotiations going if they can Bypass Arum then Hbo puts a 20 million pot for purses 12 Million for Mayweather and 8 for Hatton because the fight will be at welter for Floyds title, Floyd can still make 140 im sure and i think if more money is put his way then he would consider that, either way its still the biggest fight out there make it for november.

Mayweather will NEVER do it man. He'll call out Mosley, or some other semi-retired, past-prime, big name to look "pretty" against. Floyd will NEVER fight the likes of Hatton, Cotto or Margarito...

Floyd would look prettier against Hatton than Mosley who can match his style, Hatton will come forward and eat the jab all night...Do it at 147 and Floyd whoops that ass

the weight would hardly make a difference if these two fought. PBF walks around under 150 lbs, which is his natural weight, and getting to 140 is hardly draining himself. I doubt it would affect his performance at all, really. If anything, the extra weight might benefit Hatton.

I think Hatton would be a fool if he went for this fight without demanding it's at a catch weight of 143.5 at least. Also, Mosely's chances against Floyd are much better than Hatton's.

What does Arum have to do with anything?

He and Floyd are gonna make it hard for Mayweather-Cotto to come together.

It's basically all a matter of negotiations and egos (especially Floyd), IMO.

Hatton will never face a "live" opponent.

and the same about cotto

They should include in the contract....only 200 clinches allowed per round!...Hattons people would protest for 300

I don't know how you could say Hatton, Cotto or Margarito havne't faced a live/prime opponent in the past four years... it's VERY hard to say that about Floyd - IMO he hasn't since he fought Castillo years ago.

Floyds biggest win is vs De la Hoya, Cottos is vs Judah, Hatton vs Tszyu and Margarito vs Cintron. Whos got the advantage there ?

Yeah, that's why he offered to fight Hatton RIGHT AFTER Hatton beat Kostya but was refused because Hatton wanted more fights to be ready.
