Mate, there is no way RJJ would step back into a ring and feel confident he could withstand 12 rounds of D.Green bashing his old head about purely for our entertainment.

And you know green would bash him for 12 rounds how.???
A lucky temple shot when a fighter is cold is just that... LUCKY.
And as if rjj would enter the second fight the same way.
He may actually spar this time and warm up.:patsch

Your boy Luds copped a temple shot, yet was 'warm' after going 11-odd rounds and they were still trying to wake him up for days after 'Old Feather Fist - Punch's like a Girl' Ottke got him.

Your guy was warm, he ran around that ring so many times, I thought he was dizzy. His warmth was the only thing they had going to ensure he was alive after he was out that bad!

:yep

Nah,not reaching, even the women who come to the gym where i go know that green was lucky.
Have a look at greens face,he was more shocked than me.
Roys reflexes are spent.
Thats why now greens chasing hopkins.
He knows hopkins is on his way out.
We all do.

Are you a good fighter if you beat him when he is on the decline???
Or a great fighter if you beat him in his prime????
I know you take your chance to fight him if it comes off,but id want to be remebered for how i did it rather than i did it at the end of his career.

Unless you leasing out a time machine it's now or never for Green to fight BHop.
Are you saying BHop should retire immediately and not fight another fight??

Mate if and when hopkins retires is up to him,and yeh he can fight up until he is 50 if he chooses, but green (or even it was mundine) shouldnt talk up a fight with a legend when they are fighting them past there prime.
The media is to blame also.
You can tell green knows this when he finished rjj.............he said i feel bad taking down a legend...i grew up watching rjj fight and he was like my hero......
Green is chasing names and money...not fighters.
Ill say it again....green fight garay.

Bernard's P4P#3 Ring Magazine and ask Pavlik how he feels after Hopkins schooled him.

Your fucking would-be if he could-be Mandy wouldn't dare fucking step into the ring with some like Hopkins. Props to Danny for having the gumption to step up to the plate for a crack!

You never know with an old warhorse like B.Hopkins.
Id say close fight, maybe green on points.
Hopkins will know green will come at him early so dont believe it will be another early night like rjj fight.
And i havent watched hopkins of late but heard he is declining since taylor fight in 2005.
Plus im sure he went 12 rounds with winky wright which shows he has slowed.
Even soliman troubled winky.

...never know with an old warhorse....
....I'dsay close fight......
....maybe Green.......
....haven't watched Hopkins.....

Green KO round 3.
To strong to proud.
If it lasts longer than this the ref will be scorned for allowing BHop an ATG to get hurt.

If thats a true indication of your feelings toward the fight then you have sought of confirmed what i have been saying....hopkins is almost done.
If anyone can do that to hopkins that quickly then he should be playing bingo from now.
I know he has slowed but i thought he could still maybe just go the 12 rounds.

Even though BHOP is older than RJJ i don't think he's decline has been as great. RJJ relied on brillant reflexes, speed, footwork etc where BHOP is like a vintage wine......... mind you he can't keep going for ever.

If Green beats BHOP i have no doubt it will be a bigger accomplishment than beating RJJ.

That said, i give Green a very good chance of doing so even though if i was setting a market i'd have:

BHOP 4/9
Green 2/1

A Green win over Hopkins would be very impressive indeed, greater than his win over Jones.
