How did they find this not long ago welterweight Italian Della Rosa. Does Zbik have any killer instinct to stop an overmatched opponent ?

heard it was a SD? Did you see it? What was your opinion of the verdict?

I saw it. The Italian was by far the smaller guy, looked like a welter at most. Zbik tried to dominate from the outside, but threw too little to really do so. He backed up in straight lines and then clinched whenever Della Rosa came forward. Despite the size difference and the fact that Della Rosa couldn't throw a straight punch to save his life, Zbik got caught a few times - he was lucky that his foe had no power.

As for the SD: I didn't score the fight, but the German commentator clearly disagreed with the judge who awarded the fight to the challenger and spent the last four rounds doing little but moaning about his card (they announced the judges' scores after the 8th round). The brave Della Rosa was more active and tried to press the action, but he has no skill and rarely hit the target with his punches. He also suffered a cut after an accidental headbutt in the second round, his team didn't include a cutman so he had blood running down his face during the entire bout.
Zbik, on the other hand never looked too bothered by his opponent, but he couldn't hurt him either and did rather little.

In short: Zbik didn't look good: zero power, average defence/reflexes, unimpressive ring movement, little activity... On this form he gets beaten by the first decent middle he faces. If he ever gets his shot at Pavlik, he'll get destroyed. The only positive thing I can say about his performance is this: he did come across as a nice guy in the post-match interview.
