Maybe; I still think they'll get whooped in the Big 10.

However, as a USF alum, I'm excited about the prospect of being 4-0 with 2 wins against ranked teams and only 2 threatening games left.

The four teams at the top are head and shoulders over everyone else, so IMO no. As a matter of fact, all four of those teams are better than last years National Champs....Last year overall there were no truly powerful teams, they all had signifigant weaknesses.

OSU is still slow on the defensive side of the ball, and doesn't have a true gamebreaking receiver to mask an average receiving corps.

USF looked good tonight and has all season. Their inablility to run the ball would cost them against one of the 4 powers though.

How are all 4 teams head and shoulders better? The #1 team in the country lost their 2 best players from last year? CFB is down at the moment, not better than last year.

Please, every analyst in the country KNOWS these teams are better than last year. Florida had glaring weaknesses as did USC, Michigan, and OSU. It has been mentioned a number of times already that these teams are on another level than last year. Florida wasn't even running their offense to full capacity because Leak couldn't run the option part of the spread option. Hell, both USC and Texas from 05 would have blasted Florida and the other contenders last year. Case and point? USC was clearly the 2nd best team last year but was young and made many mental mistakes. That team wasn't in the same league as USC of 05 or 04.

USC's best players were on their DEFENSE last year. And losing your 2 best players means nothing if better players step up. Turner is a faster bigger version of Jarrett. Their running game is better, their line is much better. And the defense is 2x as good because the secondary is far superior due to the influx of players returning from injury.

Ohio State should be number 1, second to none.

They have no business being number one at this point in time.

Yeah but I'm not sweating the Gators. I'm a Canes fan and even though I know we're nowhere near them anymore we whipped their ass everytime we played them from '02-'04. Not only that but we have 3 more national titles than them. We should have 4 more but the referee took one away from us in the fiesta bowl in jan. of '03.

first off, my bad, meant to put this in the lounge.

second, i think LSU is very well rounded and should win it all. Cal looked good as well (but they lost havent they)

Michigan sucks

Penn State was grossly overated

WV took USF lightly and got biten in the ass

USC and LSU are the real thing

Buckeyes have an easy schedule...should end up undefeated but not in USC nor LSU caliber
