In front of a capacity crowd, undefeated Michael Bolling (now 10-0 8ko) won the vacant Australian Super Middleweight Title against previously undefeated Serge Yannick (now 4-1 3ko) at Cronulla Leagues earlier this evening.

In a tough fight which was described "as 1 of the best action fights of the year" by my source ringside, Bolling dominated mostly in the early & middle rounds.
Bolling knocked the iron-chinned Yannick down heavy in round 8, & Yannick returned to come home strong to win the last 2 rounds clearly.
Ringside all the judges gave the win to Bolling, with my source ringside scoring it 96-93 to Bolling or 6 rounds to 4 with the knockdown.
The crowd were clapping & standing on their feet at the fights conclusion.

Post fight Bolling's crew stated they would be keen on fighting former Australian Super Middleweight champs Les Piper & Israel Kani in the new year.
Hopefully more can be seen of him on TV in the new year.

On the undercard Billy Dib won a near shutout to Filipino Roel Mangan over 8 rounds at lightweight. My source had it 79-73 as did 2 of the judges.
Mangan fought well & with my heart as always, however Dib was just too slick & skillful.

Also Hussen El Husseini (now 2-0 0ko) remained undefeated with a 4 round unanimous decision over the winless Frank Droulias. My source had it 40-37 to Husseini.

Both fights were great, especially Bolling v Yannick. The scorecards were looking pretty fair and even at 96-95 and 97-95 untill one judge scored it 100-92.. That last scorecard was horrible as the fight was very close and could have gone either way if not for the knockdown scored by Bolling.. Anyway, it was a top fight as was Dib v Managan. Just want to congratulate Ryan Waters on putting on a great fight card that would have been worthy of being televised on Foxtel. Not sure why he doesn't as I've heard that he usually puts on great shows.

Ryan puts on some of the best promoted cards in the country & maybe 1 day he will expand them to include FOX.

Well said, unfortunately I couldn't stay and see Bolling vs Yannick, but the night was excellent, a top show put on by Ryan and the Dib vs. Mangan fight was a belter! Round 5 was a corker!!

Kudos to Pat Kennedy also who was the matchmaker, superb match-up's made for great fights.

Tip top show, much enjoyed.
